The perfect venue for a yoga retreat

St Marks Stays was a perfect venue for a weekend retreat. The communication and help from Jo & Damian was exemplary, the kitchen was well equipped and the yoga studio with all the props saved us lugging them from our studios at home. A really easy venue to navigate and house ten guests and two teachers for a weekend of nurture.

Perfect in every way

I think that this was the 5th or 6th time at St Mark's Stays that I book for my yoga and Wellness retreats. Joanne & Damien have put so much thought and love into it, that even my guests say it feels like home. The home, location, friendlyness, indoor and outdoor spaces, the thoughtful touches, the attention the detail. The list goes on and is also the reason why I have booked it for twice again for next year. There is absolutely nothing missing for your stay. and I would100% would recommend

A beautiful, restful house in gorgeous surroundings

This house is perfect for a big group, every possible requirement is provided for and the setting is absolutely stunning. We had from age 9 to 83 and everyone loved the house, from the glorious views in the garden to the comfy sofas in the two sitting rooms. Everything a cook could need in the kitchen, super comfy beds, lovely bathrooms - it's just perfect. Damian and Joanne were super hosts, there when we needed them and with really helpful advice and local information.

The hosts are so thoughtful and the venue just gets better every time we visit. The addition of yoga props was a winner and we had a fabulous spring retreat. Can’t wait to be back in October. Thank you Joanne and Damian for creating such as special place.

Trully magical place!

I took a group of my students for a weekend yoga retreat. We had a beautiful studio on our disposal for our practice, the living room was great for our talks and workshops, and the walks our hosts introduced us to were incredible! The house is situated in a beautiful, calm and quiet part of the land, surrounded by breath-taking scenery.
