Eslington Villa is a stunning 19th Century hotel located just minutes from the Team Valley in Gateshead.

The hotel retains a lot of its original features yet has been tastefully extended, not losing any of its character or charm.

It is situated within 2 acres of landscaped gardens with extensive views over the Team Valley.

It is ideal for visitors on business and leisure breaks, with Newcastle, Gateshead and Durham only a short drive away.

No two bedrooms in Eslington Villa are the same.

There is a choice of 18 individually designed bedrooms which range from the traditional - complete with four poster bed - to the more contemporary designer rooms.

All rooms have direct dial phone, satellite television and free Wi-Fi internet.

The hotel also boasts an award winning restaurant, having secured two AA rosettes for the quality and range of cuisine on offer and is ideal for business lunches or intimate dinners.

We have a real passion for producing outstanding food with an emphasis on the highest quality local and seasonal produce.

Comfortable and enjoyable stay

Easy check-in, old building, polite and very helpful staff. Good parking. Also a big thank you to the cleaning staff who obviously do a great job as they found our son’s head phones under the sofa and the front desk manager who kindly called us to let us know.

I stayed at Eslington Villa for 3 nights while visiting my parents. From the moment we arrived to when we left our stay was perfect. The staff were amazing, extremely accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. I have definitely found my home away from home for whenever I am visiting my parents.

We found the staff were very accommodating in all aspects to checking in to leaving .

We were a party of eight for my daughter's 30th birthday the food was lovely on the evening meal,we were allowed to take a cake and they lit it and shared out which I was pleasantly surprised as thought we would have to take home. I stayed in the apartment they have with 3 other members of family everything you needed was available, then breakfast was a treat large selection couldn't ask for better all staff amazing would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the apartment. It is a good size, well appointed, and well lit with natural light. Two of us stayed in the Laburnum room two weeks ago, but with 3 adults the apartment, with two en-suite rooms, lounge and kitchen, was more suitable. We will stay again.

So nice to stay in the spacious apartment

This hotel was recommended to us and was everything we could have hoped for. As a 2-generation party It was so convenient to stay in the beautiful hotel apartment and have the convenience of the kitchen and lounge in the evenings. Breakfast and dinner in the amazing dining hall were delicious and worthy of the awards given to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just a short drive to see the Angel of the North and visit other attractions in the area made our stay perfect.

Lovely stay in great hotel.

Stayed in the apartment as we were visiting family who live nearby. Very clean, warm spacious and comfortable with lovely linens, well equipped kitchen facilities and a cosy living area. All staff we met were friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast too. In a nice neighbourhood with lovely park nearby. Also good pubs and eateries in low fell. Was great to come back to the hotel on the cold foggy evenings. Was just what we needed and will book again when we’re next visiting.

Fantastic value for money

We stayed in the apartment for one night with our 18 month old baby as we needed a separate bedroom for our baby to sleep in and facilities to heat milk and prepare food. The apartment is perfect for families with plenty of space for everyone.
