Your hosts Jens and Kim Eberhardt have been married for over 35 years and have a combined 50 years experience in the Hospitality Industry.
Jens – born in Munich/Germany – is Hilton International trained and has a degree in Hotel Management from Heidelberg. He worked in Switzerland, USA and on a cruise liner in South East Asia where he met Kim, the hair dresser onboard the Pearl of Scandinavia. Our twon sons were born in Australia where we worked as live-in managers for Olim. In 1989 we caved in to the pleas of our parents to bring the grand children back to Europe. We settled for the first 9 years in Southampton, then moved to Gloucester. Kim worked as the Housekeeper in the finest hotel in Cheltenham. 1998 we bought our first of three guest houses. We operated them until 2016 and sold two of them. Now we are welcoming guests in City Centre Guest House – Gloucester Park.
Whilst you are with us you might just want to get on with whatever you came to Gloucester for. We respect that and we will leave you un-disturbed. Of course – if you indicate that you want to have a chat – we can be the perfect mine-host with our unique mix of Germanic efficiency and British hospitality charm.
