The pool house is a great place to stay.

The pool house was lovely, the pool and hot tub were perfect. Everything was clean. The pool house would be perfect for a family of 4 - 2 adults 2 children, however, 4 adults can easily make it work.

Excellent break again this year

Excellent break again this year. We all enjoyed our stay. Kids loved the pool during the day and hot tub in the evening. Clean accommodation. Easy to book takeaways as they delivered directly to the Pool House. I am sure we will be returning again next year too. Thanks to Gary who was always on hand to handle any issues.

We cannot recommend this place highly enough! What a fabulous find and the most perfect week!

The outdoor facilities, pool and hot tub were just incredible, the kids absolutely loved them. The weather was great but even if it wasn’t, it wouldn’t have ruined the stay. The lodge was also gorgeous, clean, warm and with all of the toiletries provided. Lovely places to walk too. Would recommend to anyone. Gary was brilliant, if we needed anything he was on hand.

Fantastic summer holiday

We had an amazing stay at the pool house and would fully recommend it. It is perfectly placed for a range of days out and the pool and hot tub are fantastic additions. Having full Sky and Netflix TV was brilliant. The  house itself is very clean and well done out and is much bigger inside than I imagined. All in all, a wonderful place to stay and we will most certainly return.

Could no fault anything so clean lovely touches such as slippers and robes pool and hot tub were amazing Gary was so helpful from the start. The welcome guide has everything you need recommending local taxis and places to eat and visit (Village Cabs and The Peacock for Sunday lunch)

Had an amazing stay at The Pool House

We were there for 5 days for my Wife’s 40th and we both can’t recommend it enough. Cleaned to a high standard and had all the facilities required. The pool is amazing, especially when the weather is nice, then the hot tub to top it off on an evening was a great addition. We even got some fresh eggs from the hens on the farm. Gary was very helpful with every request and made our visit extra special. Can’t wait to return.

Superb family break with an amazing outdoor pool and hot tub

We had an amazing 4 night break at The Pool House (2 adults and 2 children) last weekend. We would highly recommend The Pool House to everyone. The accomodation was great, the hot tub was lovely in the evenings to relax and the pool was just amazing and large enough for us all to enjoy, playing games and swimming. Beautiful setting and quiet. Easy self check in and out. Tea, coffee and toiletries provided too. We will definately be returning, we loved the place. We didn't want to come home.

A wonderful place to relax

A wonderful place to relax in the midst of a horse farm. A beautiful heated swimming pool that we loved starting the day in, as well as other times. An awesome hot tub to end the evening in. Smart & modern facilities, comfortable large bed, plenty of wardrobe space if you are staying for a week. Great walks around the farm & into & through the hamlet. Peaceful & quiet even though it is a working farm. Would recommend it to anyone.

Very relaxing getaway.

Very easy set-up, wasn't complicated to access the property or lodge. Impressed by the cleanliness of the lodge, and the quality of the hot tub. Only things to purchase for the lodge would be chopping boards and wooden spoons, everything else we needed was there. Changing the heating in the lodge was quite cumbersome. Would have liked a heated swimming pool to use too.

Wonderful place to relax

The welcome guide and instructions were very clear. Gary popped in not long after we arrived and was very welcoming and helpful. The pool was immaculate and very warm - weather wasn’t co-operating so it was nice the kids could still swim and enjoy themselves. The garden was a lovely place to be, and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing in. We had the boot room as a small bedroom for the kids, and the main room had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and kitchen well appointed.

Beautiful out of the way hideaway

The owners couldn’t have done more for us, friendly, approachable and generous to a tee. will most definitely be returning for a longer stay.

A relaxing stay with perfect pool and hot tub.

We had a great stay making full use of the lovely warm pool and super hot tub. The chalet was very comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed visiting Old Kiln Lakes and it was lovely to wake up to a view of horses each morning.

Bank Holiday Getaway

Lovely place and surroundings. So nice to have a properly comfortable bed. The only negatives were that the property decoration was a bit tired and the shower had very low pressure. Everything else was great and access to the fishing lake was a bonus. Thanks to Gary for providing such a good experience for us.

We have addressed the water pressure issue in the shower by running in a new mains water feed and the decorators will be in during the autumn to give the Pool House a lick of paint.
