‘Darach’ is the Gaelic name for Oak and this cabin has been suitably finished in Oak cladding. This vibrant wood brings a deep, warm atmosphere to the space as it captures light from our long summer sunsets. It features a King-size four-poster steel frame bed made by our team at McLaren Building. This kitchen has been handcrafted in Walnut and finished in an oak trim and topped with stylish Corian. The bathroom has a large drench shower and a Bluetooth mirror speaker to set your mood.
Ardcana, luxury spaces have been built around the view, with huge picture windows which offer an unrivalled panorama, even from the comfort of your bed. Whether the sun is shining, or the famous Skye rain is falling, you will be able to watch a stunning show, night after night from the comfort of Ardcana. In the height of summer, you might just be lucky enough to experience the sun setting behind Dun Caan, the famous flat-topped mountain of Raasay.

A very relaxing, smart and comfortable stay in a cabin overlooking natural beauty!

We loved the quality of the cabin - furniture, bathroom and amenities were all accessible. Heating was perfect for wintry days and the waterfall shower was perfect! The window overlooking Skye's landscapes was picture-perfect!

Beautiful views and location!

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay in this modern rustic cabin. We watched the sunset every evening through the huge picture window. Convenient location with grocery store an restaurants close by. Hope we can return one day!

Lovely, modern, comfortable cabin with incredible views. A well-equipped kitchen allowed us to take a break from restauranting (there's a Co 0p for groceries just down the road in Broadford). Danni was welcoming and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed 3 nights at Ardcana as our base for exploring the Isle of Skye.

We really liked this beuatiful cabin! We could feel the love in all the little details. The big window with the beautiful view is perfect for stunning sunsets. The bed is really comfy, we enjoyed the skylight! The kitchen has all you need to cook for breakfast or dinner. We‘d love to visit again!

Absolutely lovely locale

We arrived at night really late and the host was able to accommodate us. The room was spacious. The view from the floor to ceiling windows stunning. We especially loved the heated floors, the fast-working towel warmer, the selection of interesting books on the coffee table, fresh flowers in the bath and kitchen. My only recommendation is we weren’t aware there would be no sugar or cream for the coffee and tea, so bring your own. Wonderful stay- enjoyed! Five stars!

We are incredibly proud of the process of building our Cabins, everything has been handcrafted here in Breakish by our wonderful building team at McLaren Building. They have been great for showcasing the bespoke spaces we have created.
