Confusing interactions with property manager / agent

A great villa; overlooked by an adjoining one, but common on the Island. Good views from the high point that it is, over trees. Let down by inaccurate information displayed in the property, relating to the other Villa (e.g. wifi code). Cleaning was indicated as happening twice during the 7 days, but turned out needed to be requested. Repeated attempts to arrange this failed, including an impromptu arrival at 9am having indicated they'd come the day prior (thus vacating the property all day). Understandable that Covid has disrupted processes, being told that there's a requirement to vacate the property 2 hours before cleaning, and then turning up so early un-announced meant something had clearly broken down. Eventually cleaning was done once, the day before we left, which seemed a bit pointless, but was insisted upon. Bear in mind, this is a single room. Bring earplugs unless you're used to the constant loud buzz of a fridge. The fridge had a tiny ice-encrusted freezer, too small for a bag of ice. Barbeque did not come with a grill to put above the coals, and nothing usable from the oven. On reporting this, was told coals would not be supplied (this was not asked for) - but a grill was dropped off after a few days, so all good in the end.

Une maison de charme

La maison est optimum pour un séjour de courte, voire moyenne durée. Les équipements domestiques sont par contre très indigents (frigidaire défectueux, matériel de cuisine tel que poêle, casseroles, vétuste et insuffisant, cafetière électrique en bout de course). En revanche, la piscine est un vrai bonheur.

It was a beautiful well-equipped villa in a peaceful location approx 5 mins drive from the center of Gaios where there was plenty of life if you want it. There is an excellent beach nearby and also great restaurants and bars within a few minutes drive from the villa and the sea are only 5 minutes drive away. Otherwise, the villa is cozy and rooms are comfortable, and have lots of storage. Couldnt fault the villa at all. We visited Loggos and Lakka a couple of times and really enjoyed tasting delicious specialties in local tavernas there. We had a nice relaxed holiday and we are coming back again next year.

We spent almost all our time at the house, swimming, relaxing or walking in the beautiful countryside. The outside area is the best. Everything was as described. There is an excellent beach (Paralia Kamini) within 5 min drive, but while we were there, we have explored the area and found other fab beaches near Magazia (Paralia Tripitis and Paralia Kaki Lagkada). Nice quality time spend there: tasting local food, wine tasting, swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, etc. The location is also excellent for exploring other places and the local area. Within only a 5-10 minute drive you are at Loggos and Gaios. We had a great relaxed holiday at Millers Cottage and we are very satisfied that we booked it for our current holiday. We have already re-booked it for 10 days next year. See you again Agni.

The Millers Cottage was a spectacular, with absolutely no issues. We liked to book a villa in a private isolated setting far from the outside world and we found the Millers Cottage to be our best holiday retreat. The location is nice and quite, but is still near to Gaios and other local amenities: beaches, tavernas, bars, etc. Overall nice holiday. Thank you, Agni for being extremely helpful & giving us lots of useful information & contact numbers for the local area. Looking forward to booking with you again for next year.

The Millers Cottage is lovely; its spotless, cozy, and roomy, with everything youll need for a pleasant vacation. The sunset and scenery are breathtaking. The pool is the ideal size for relaxing and tanning in sun. The villa was completely safe and the outside dining area was great for al fresco dining. The Villa was just what we wanted it met all our expectations. It was absolutely brilliant. Very accurate the photos dont do it justice it is an amazing villa and the grounds are beautiful. We couldnt have asked for a higher level of service. From the booking through the end of our vacation, everything went flawlessly. I would highly recommend this property, and I would most certainly return again.

The location fully met our desires to where we could do day trips with ease and still have time to take advantage of the private pool and more local things to do. Set in beautiful countryside, the Millers Cottage was very comfortable and private. We really enjoyed the outdoor spaces both around the BBQ, pool, and terrace! We had a great time there and were every day amazed by how lovely the places Gaios and Alcudia are ( both reachable within a short 5-10 minutes drive). We loved alternating days between exploring different places and beaches and having relaxing days at the villa. Nice spend time at Avlaki Beach and Paralia Kaki Lagkada beach where we enjoyed tasting local food, drinking some of the local wines, swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, etc. The villa is cozy, has more than everything you need, wonderful grounds, pool everything! Very satisfied that we stayed at Millers Cottage and in Magazia for our current holiday destination and we definitely book it again for the next year.

Superb Villa, with excellent outdoor area in a lovely quiet area which was also easily accessible to shops, restaurants and the beaches. We would recommend a car which we had as the distances as so many gems to discover on the island within a 10 - 15 minute drive. Taxis are available. The pool was clean and the barbecue in a good spot for socialising whilst cooking. Will definitely be back. .

Paxos is a beautiful island with some amazing little harbour towns. It would have been useful to have known where the biggest supermarket was as we found it difficult to buy food. It would have been a nice touch to have had bbq fuels available with the cottage. It was overall a good holiday- very peaceful and restful.
