Ivy covered stone Mas part of an 18th century former convent.

Comfortably appointed Gite within a renovated 18th Century stone Mas, with Ivy clad walls. Mas Grandiflora is just 10 minutes from Perpignan International airport within the historic village of Espira de L'Agly. Encircled by lush gardens it is a gardeners delight with a large Magnolia Grandiflora, Hibiscus, Bougainvillea, Datura, grape vines and orange and lemon tress. The shared pool (open May to September) is private but has a view of the 12th Century bell tower and village Church.
L'Hibiscus is a first floor open plan studio apartment and can sleep 2 adults and 2 small children sharing a sofa bed all within the same space.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the shower room also houses the washing machine.
There is a dining area with in the Gite and also a designated area on the ground floor terrace for alfresco dining.
We also have 2 other Gites on the premises. La Petite Maison sleeps 2, La Bougainvillea sleeps 2-6.

Fantastic Holiday

An excellent property in a lovely, typically french little village. The accomodation was well kept and very clean and the photographs on the website did not do the place justice. Set in well maintained gardens it made for a peaceful break with a fantastic swimming pool, which again was larger than it looked on the pictures. The owners were very helpful and had a good knowledge of the local area and where to go to make the best from our time. A car is a must as it is approx 25 minutes to the coast, but a really relaxing drive on good, quiet roads. We visited lots of lovely beaches, some sandy, some not. Everything needed can be found in the supermarkets as there are not many places to eat in the village. We used the bbq most evenings. We would certainly recommend it for people who crave a relaxing holiday but close enough to the hustle and bustle of Perpignan.

Un site très agréable tenu par un couplé sensationnel

Nous avons passé mon épouse et notre fille 15 jours dans un cadre superbe. Nous avons été accueilli par Julian et Julia d une façon admirable et qui ont été aux petits soins durant tout notre séjour. Nous reviendrons c est certain.

Very Relaxing Sojourn

My wife and I had a very relaxing week staying at Mas Grandiflora. Julian and Julia, the hosts, live on site and are very friendly and helpful. Bakery and Spar are less than one minute walk away in the village, for your fresh bread and any essentials you might not have picked up in the Carrefour. Lovely studio type accommodation with kichen and bedroom more or less open plan, separate bathroom. Easy parking. Good size pool. It is within easy reach, by car, of the beach, coastal towns, and the "sights" generally. Would certainly recommend Mas Grandiflora!

Roussillon Break

We had a great stay here. L'Hibiscus was very clean, with good facilities, and the owners, Alvin and Elaine, were very helpful. Espira d'Agly is a quiet little town that has a baker, a butcher, a small supermarket, a post office, and a restaurant and bar, all less than five minutes walk from the house. It is well within reach of the Mediterranean coast, Spain, Rennes-le-Château, and the Route Cathar. Many interesting things to see in the area, lots of art galleries including the Dali Museum. Recommended.

SEJOUR PAISIBLE

Je suis allée 2 fois chez Alvin et Helene et mon séjour fut formidable a chaque fois leur maison est magnifique et tres bien entretenue dans ce petit village reculé de Perpignan. Piscine extraordinaire, terasse individuel tres sympa avec un cadre de fleur et de plante superbe. Je recommande cet endroit aussi bien a une personne seule qu'en couple ou en famille. Et enfin l'acceuil des propriétaires est vraiement chaleureux. Tres bon rapport qualité prix. Mois c'est sûr j'y retourne...

Paradise in perpignan

Excuse my english, we are french : we spent a very good moment in your apartment, wonderful swimming pool and garden, good location to go to spain. Perfect for family.
