Villa Aurora is situated in a protected area, 10 minutes walk from the coast in a tranquil, secluded setting with cypresses fruit trees & vineyards in abundance. Built on the site of a 19th century villa, the house was completely rebuilt & refitted and is surrounded by garden, with uninterrupted views from the terrace to the coast. The villa comprises of two extremely comfortable and spacious maisonettes (Alba and Tramonto), each with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen & large living / dining room and private terrace area, with a shared sunny terrace at the front of the house. The third maisonette (Elea) on the same property is a small detached converted orangerie - a cottage STUDIO SUITE for 2 people (2+1 child). It is situated cca 30 m from the villa. From the villa it is a short walk to a choice of restaurants, bars, shops, wellness centre, tennis courts & a hotel whose pool can be used by guests of the villa. Strunjan is a quiet seaside village a few km from Slovenia's 2 best coastal towns - stunning Venetian Piran & charming Izola.

Lipica Stud: Lipica Stud was established as far as 1580 and has become world famous for being a homeland of noble white horses- Lipizzaners. Nowadays, Lipica is attracting not only horse-fanciers but also visitors keen on sports and recreation. Among various facilities offered by the Stud farm, guests can stay at the Hotel Maestoso or Hotel Klub with restaurants, indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, casino Grand Casino Lipica.There's a golf course at Lipica, too and there's another golf course just a few minutes drive form Villa Aurora, highly appreciated : Kempinski Golf Course Adriatic, details on: www.golf-adria.com . a small slovenian oasis

All in all, everything was great. Enough space for 4 people, everything worked as it should. The only thing to criticize is the cleanliness, for some too little clean for others too much clean - I think something has to be done because then the price is justified. Otherwise a fantastic location, quiet and just right between the two beaches where you can easily get there on foot in 10-15 minutes.

Wir haben uns in der Villa Aurora sehr wohl gefühlt.Es ist alles vorhanden für einen erholsamen Urlaub.Wenn etwas fehlt, ist Ana stets sehr bemüht, zu helfen.Sie ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin.Am besten hat uns die Möglichkeit des Radelns gefallen, super Wege.

Viel Platz in den Raeumen, einladende ueberdachte Terrasse (wo wir ausschliesslich sassen) mit weitem Ausblick auf Toskanalandschaft, himmlische Ruhe. Nur 15 Minuten zu Fuss zum Strand. Schoene Wanderungen vom Haus nach Piran und Isola. Exzellente Betreuung und Kommunikation mit Ana, der Vermieterin, wir konnten noch 2 Tage verlaengern. Das naechste Mal wieder hier hin.

Strandnähe und Ruhe

Das Haus liegt in traumhafter Lage fußläufig zum Strand und bietet viel Platz. Der Garten ist groß und gepflegt mit Tischtennisplatte zur gemeinsamen Nutzung mit den Bewohnern der beiden anderen auf dem Gelände befindlichen Ferienwohnungen. Die Sauberkeit in Küche und Bädern läßt allerdings zu wünschen übrig, außerdem war das Bad im Erdgeschoß an der Decke über der Dusche schimmlig. Sehr schade - trotzdem hat es uns gut gefallen. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war exzellent, sehr freundlich, entgegenkommend mit schnellen Antworten zu allen Fragen.

Great holiday, fantastic location

My family and I have been at Villa Aurora in the past and were finally very happy to have an opportunity to return. We found it perfect, every detail has been thought of and the communication with the owner was simple and nice. We visited many lovely places around ( Piran, Izola, Portoroz ) and hopped in Postojna Caves as well. The beach is just a short walk away and it is lovely. We saw even deer in the morning, we couldn’t believe our eyes. We hope to have an opportunity to come back in near future.

We had a phantastic time at Villa Aurora! We really fell in love with Istria and the "Sleeping beauty" is a perfect place to discover the surrounding (f.e. Piran, Izola). We especially enjoyed the calmness, the breathtaking views and by the way, so close to the beach... We definitely want to come back:-)

Lovely spacious villa

We loved the villa - especially having the outdoor patio. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious. Kitchen and living room were also large and well equipped. The .location was good for lots of activities. I would definitely recommend it. We were disappointed to not be able to get any internet connection at all while we were there - it turned out the lady looking after the place had not turned the router on for us! Since there is no oven or propane BBQ, it would have been nice to have a microwave oven.

Dear Guests, Thank you very much for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your holiday at Villa Aurora. We've already spoken about wi-fi but allow me to explain again: The lady was very sorry when she told me about it- since you were our only guests at the time, she turned the electricity of the other maisonettes off for security reasons, and by mistake she turned the wi-fi off as well, she felt so guilty and kept apologising. I personally apologise for that - it’s a pity you didn’t let us know, the lady would have come at instant . We've talked about it already so I know everything is fine, I just wished to explain. slowenian adria coast- small but fine

We were looking for some time, to find the villa Aurora, because it is very individual a part of the old strukture of the village.The new built house is in the best shape- the very friendly owners are attentivly to solve any problems. The beautifull coast-area of slowenia with old villages and a lot of perfomances is very clean and well organized.Cycling- ways in best quality are a good friend along the coast area, but also along the countryside are enough good small streets for cycling. We had a very good time in Strunjan in a very private atmosphere of a beautifull house and scenic area.

Beautiful house on fabulous location!!

We have greatly enjoyed the stay in your beautiful Villa Aurora in Strunjan! The house is spacious, luxurious and beautifully situated in the hills, with a stunning view. A quiet en peaceful place to be. We were lucky to had no neighbours for the whole week, so we had a lot of privacy. We felt at home, immediately. We have enjoyed the peacefulness, the view, the beatiful surrounding, the nice little villages to walk through (Piran is a must!) and of course the beach and the sea. We even found the beautiful beach, down by the Cross. SUPER!!! It was quite an effort to get there, but absolutely worth it!

Because it is an excellent mixture of ' away from it all' and the 'social life': situated in the middle of the protected Natural Park and yet it is so near all the facilities such as great shopping, cinema, sports and leisure activities .
