Si está buscando una cabaña acogedora en una zona rural tranquila, The Dairy en Iden podría ser para usted. Ubicada en los terrenos de la bonita conversión de granero de época de los propietarios, esta casa de campo ofrece un alojamiento de alto nivel con un premio de oro de 4 estrellas en 2015, después de haber sido completamente renovada. Una nueva cocina totalmente equipada con vistas a un gran jardín en la parte trasera de la casa. Disfrute de una cena al aire libre en el área del patio junto a la sala de estar de las cabañas.

Pasillo de entrada que conduce a un amplio y luminoso salón comedor con TV a color con canales gratuitos y DVD. Sofá cama de buena calidad para 2 personas. Puertas de patio a patio y jardín. Cocina estilo galera, totalmente equipada que incluye lavavajillas y lavadora. El dormitorio puede ser una cama Super King o dos camas individuales. ¡Tenga en cuenta sus requisitos al reservar! El cuarto de baño ofrece w / c, lavabo y ducha de buen tamaño. La propiedad tiene calefacción central y estacionamiento fuera de la carretera.

Our overall experience at this accommodation was disappointing for what was described as luxurious accommodation.Upon arrival at the premises, the front entry path was somewhat slippery and the grounds and lawns were in needs of maintenance.Inside the accommodation was nice and well appointed but some things were lacking such as toilet paper, toilet cleaner and hand soap.There was a musty smell in the accommodation which required us to purchase air freshener.The wi-fi at the accommodation was poor at best.There were some spider webs inside the accommodation and windows needed cleaning.It was as though the accommodation had been closed down for the winter period.

Als wir am späten Nachmittag ankamen, war das Cottage nicht gereinigt. Keine frischen Handtücher oder Bettwäsche vorhanden. Der Vermieter nicht erreichbar. Nach 9 stündiger Anfahrt ein Schock. Erst nach 4 Std. erschien der Vermieter und bezog unser Bett und brachte Handtücher. Es gab entgegen der Versicherung von FeWo direkt keine nachgeholte Hausreinigung und nur eine Erstattung von 60 bei einem 14- tätigem Aufenthalt. Auch frische Handtücher müssten wir nach 8 Tagen anfordern, es gab lediglich neue, noch nicht gewaschene kleine Handtücher. Wir waren nicht zufrieden, obwohl das Haus in guter Lage liegt und gemütlich gewesen wäre, wenn wir nicht dermaßen schlecht betreut worden wären. Sehr schade.

Enjoyed staying in a good location for everything we wanted to do. Very quiet - and although there were other propoerties nearby we didn't see anyone else. The Dairy is comfortable and well thought out - good facilities and comfortable bed. Some maintenance issues to be sorted out (patio door difficult to lock) but nothing to spoil our stay. Would come again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Dairy: two weeks in this beautiful cottage surrounded by orchards and a peaceful garden, which we thoroughly enjoyed.The surrounding area is perfect for swimming, visiting some of England's most famous gardens, and taking hikes with stunning views over rolling hills and the sea. Rye, the nearby town, is also worth a visit, if not several! Charming and bustling, with lovely shops and cafés.We are leaving with the best memories and will certainly return to East Sussex!

Hele mooie cottage, rustig gelegen. Alles was aanwezig. Heerlijk groot bed en ook met open raam hoorde je s-nachts niets.Rye is een leuk plaatsje en met eb heb je een groot strand in Camber. Lang geleden in de UK geweest. Door dit huisje en deze streek zijn we weer enthousiast geworden…

The Dairy is like a sanctuary of peace and quiet surrounded by greenery and living things. With easy access to Rye town and the wonderful Rye Harbour Nature Reserve which we visited twice in a week.

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung für Paare und kleine Familien

Ideal gelegen um große Teile von Kent und Ost-Sussex zu erkunden - alle große Gärten sind in ca. 30-60 Minuten erreichbar, zu See sind es ca. 20 Minuten, nächste Supermärkte in 8 und 15 Minuten (Tesco im malerischen Tenderden). Bei dem Ferienhaus handelt es sich um ein umgebautes Stallgebäude, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und auf dem neuesten Stand - allerdings mit kleinem Zuschnitt. Sehr ruhiges Anwesen mit Garten und Patio, Sitzecke etc.. Wir haben die zwei Wochen hier sehr genossen. Lediglich die Gartenmöbel kommen allmählich in die Jahre und sollten erneuert werden. Gerne wieder.

Perfect location

Real country charm, close to Rye and Hastings. Completely private with beautiful surrounds. We were fortunate enough to see a deer and her fawn walk through the garden on 2 occassions, lots of bird life. Stunning location for those who can appreciate nature and want a peaceful stay.

Peaceful barn accommodation

Very quiet location. Dusty and cobwebs. Poor internet. Well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable bed. Opening and closing the gate to the drive was a nuisance especially in dark or rain.

Fantastic little find

What a beautiful property. Bright, spacious and very peaceful. Little grey squirrel visited every morning and a buzzard is nesting in the back garden. Richard the owner was helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Far from the madding crowd indeed!

Stayed for a week working and resting. The location was perfect, serene, surrounded by nature, yet vert close to lovely Rye. The little cottage was wonderful, warm and very comfy. The wifi signal is not the best but did the work when needed (in the living room, no good in the bedroom). If you suffer from arachnophobia then you may need to brace yourselves for a lot of encounters with the spider kind but as I didn’t mind, I just “escorted” them outside. They do, however, leave a lot of cobwebs and the cottage had already quite a few old cobwebs when I arrived which could have been cleared. There was also a struggle to open the windows whose frames could also do with a but of cleaning. Apart from that, a wonderful experience, a wonderful little cottage and a peaceful week. Recommended.

Peaceful and great location

This cottage is a couple of miles from Rye down a really peaceful lane. The cottage is well equipped but a fan wouldn’t go amiss in hot weather. It is a pretty little place with all you need really. A private area outside with table, chairs and a parasol. My only criticism is that the plants growing up the outside of the cottage need a good trimming back as they are infiltrating the window frames and inside the window frames need a good brush as they are full of plant bits and cobwebs etc. This makes it less pleasant to open the windows. There were some minor plumbing issues but these were dealt with quickly and efficiently and didn’t really have a big impact on our stay. We generally felt comfortable and happy here.

Rural Perfection

We were sold on this property by the pictures online but the reality of staying here far exceeded our expectations. The Dairy lies at the end of a gated private road adjacent to the owners own impressive home. However you’d not know that once inside. It’s the most charming of cottages, well laid out with everything needed for a great stay. It’s rural tranquility belies it’s fairly close proximity to a number of National Trust properties and many eateries too. The Oak at Rye Foreign is one we enjoyed visiting. As well as the Playden Oast Inn. But sitting outside at the Dairy it’s easy to forget that the outside world exists. So quiet and peaceful it’s a joy. We’ll definitely be returning. Richard and Michelle are on hand if needed but otherwise almost invisible. Thanks to them for providing such a lovely place for others to stay.

A hidden gem

Fabulous property in a beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. The Dairy is spotlessly clean and comfortable and the queen size bed was wonderful. We are an older couple, over 70, everything we could have wanted or needed was there. Plenty of interesting places to visit around the area. Our hosts, Richard and Michelle, were very welcoming. We would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful rural getaway
