Acerca de este alojamiento
Little Elms, Stow-on-the-Wold, Cotswolds
One of the most popular Cotswold locations, Stow-on-the-Wold is a beautiful historic market town which embraces country life. At its heart amongst the honey-coloured buildings lies Little Elms. Overlooking the village green and the market square, the hubbub of Cotswold life is on your doorstep.
Dating back to the 1700s, this timeless townhouse is light and airy with nods to its past shown in the exposed beams. With a smattering of modern art and crisp décor Little Elms is a stylish retreat. Encompassing three floors there is ample space for four with the master bedroom on the top floor being a special treat. Here there is an emperor bed resting beneath the eaves so you have more than enough room to spread out and have an amazing night’s sleep. The master bedroom en-suite has jack and jill access allowing those staying in bedroom two access. The bunk room suits children or adults and there is a cosy sitting room which overlooks the market square through the elm trees. On the ground floor is a country classic kitchen with a dining area where you can stay in for dinner if you don’t fancy visiting one of the many pubs and restaurants in town.
Although Little Elms does not have its own outdoor space, you don’t notice as in the morning you can pop out to one of the cafes for a pastry and coffee to go and sit at the village green, watching the world go by. You’ll find everything you need in Stow-in-the-Wold and close by you can visit Sezincote House and Garden, Bourton-on-the-Water, Daylesford and Chipping Norton.
Ground Floor
Entrance Hall:
Step through the front door into a small hallway, with stairs to the upper floors straight ahead and the kitchen-dining room to the left. Here you’ll find an umbrella stand and room to take off shoes and walking boots.
The Kitchen-Dining Room:
The beautiful, bright, open-plan kitchen/dining room is the focal point of the house and a great space to relax, cook, socialise and enjoy your meals around a generously sized table. There is every appliance needed for preparing home-cooked food, from the Smeg fridge-freezer to the abundance of kitchen cabinets and work surfaces. An original window seat is a lovely place to perch and watch the world go by as your chef gets to work. Behind the door is a handy upcycled church pew with seating and hooks for coats and storage for footwear.
First Floor

Though ideal for younger guests, the bedroom feels grown up too, with its modern art and contemporary fabrics. (Each single bed measures 3ft x 6ft3”).
