Excellent getaway

Easily booked, impeccably clean, well equipped property. Lovely quiet resort. Nice friendly golf club house. Would definitely go again.

Don’t use vrbo for this site

Took me 1.5hrs to get into this cabin from arriving at reception. Reception know nothing about cabins n bookings so can’t help. They gave me map of massive rabbit Warren park which was only based on numbers. My cabin had no number n sign is not visible when driving so took me 3/4 to locate it. When I finally found it key code wouldn’t work guy from reception very kindly drove down to try it but had no success. No phone number had been given to me to contact property owner so had to mess about on internet to contact them via vrbo link n it took ages as no WiFi until I connected with cabin . Property owner did come back to me quickly n kindly told me door code was wrong they had changed it but it hadn’t been updated on vrbo. She gave me rit key code n I was finally able to get in. The comms from vrbo were poor n out of date I definitely won’t use them again. Several of my friends booked on this site and had no problems with their booking people. The cabin itself was however very nice and clean and had everything I needed.

Its the personal touches that remain with you

Arriving to a super welcome pack, a Christmas tree and a New Years card showed class, and its those quality touches that will remain with us long after the holiday. Could not have asked for a better property of location for our explore of the area.

3 Day Break

Accommodation was perfect with welcome hamper most appreciated. We enjoyed our trips to Alnwick and Carster Harbour and the area would certainly be on our list of return trips in the future.

A little gem of a property.

We had such a lovely week staying here... From the minute we walked inside, it was obvious that everything had been thought about carefully and to a high standard. The hosts clearly go the extra mile to ensure that their guests feel welcome by leaving a lovely welcome pack, and even an anniversary card and gift. Communication with the hosts was easy via the vbro app and any queries were responded to immediately (not that there were many as everything whilst staying there was perfect) Some very small additions to the property could be a door mat for the patio doors (we used one of our own towels as we didn't want to mark the carpet when we had been out on the decking), a bath mat (fortunately we had taken one) and more wine glasses! The park itself is quiet and the places of interest are a 20 minute drive away, which suited our party. We loved Warkworth, Alnmouth, Cresswell, Seahouses, Beadnell, Alnwick and Amble. There are lots of supermarkets in Alnwick (M and S, Aldi, Lidl) which we found very convenient. Thank you Jack and Sarah for a wonderful stay in your beautiful holiday home. We hope to return next time we visit Northumberland. Love The Cole Family x

The property had everything we needed and was superbly presented. The location was central for visiting lots of different areas in Northumberland.
