Excellent location in Venice! Beds are low and uncomfortable but apartment is well located. Check in was easy and host communicates well! Washer is a great feature and apartment is very close to so many cafe, restaurants and shops.

Great property & location

My family & I had a wonderful stay at this large property. We had plenty of room to spread out and the a/c worked so well! I loved the area where we were located. Very close to lots of restaurants and a couple of grocery stores. We will definitely be coming back!

Overall a great stay. Here’s what we loved: - the location. Quiet. But near great spots. More local feeling. Not far from the train station - the size of the space. Very large for a family of 5 (with young adult children). We were impressed with how big it was. - cleanliness and comfort. The space was clean and the air con worked well!! Decorated entirely from IKEA. Which doesn’t fit the architecture but was still nice. Beds were a little bit hard but reasonable - the kitchen was functional for making American style breakfast. - the property manager was responsive. Needs improvement: - there was 1 roll of toilet paper, no napkins or paper towels, and a crusty sponge for washing dishes. One used dish towel. No body wash or soap for the shower. These have been standard in other VRBOs even in Europe but not here. - the WiFi is terrible and so was our cell signal…Like “1995 dialup” bad. It made it hard to find places on Google Maps. Even while the property manager was there checking us in, I couldn’t submit their required security deposit because the WiFi was so bad. - the bathroom is awkward. It works but the setup of everything is odd. In a line from the door: washer, sink, bidet, tiny shower stall, toilet. With no where to put the toilet paper. Also even though there’s a clothes washer there was no place to hang clothes to dry. - the space is dark. The windows all are shuttered and covered. No natural light anywhere.- very early checkout, no bag storage available

Fabulous Location

Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults, although there is only one bathroom. The location is great, in a quieter area but still close to restaurants, shops, and vaporetti. The AC worked well and was much appreciated.

Overall, the apartment is very nice! It’s spacious, clean and has plenty of room to sleep 5-6 comfortably. It is a far walk and in a quiet section of Venice giving it a nice feel for the city! The air conditioning works well which was a great benefit in the July heat. We did have an issue with check in and communication. Overall, a good experience as long as you’re prepared to walk a lot (probably the norm in Venice)!

Large apartment in a great location

We were a family group of five adults and one infant. There was plenty of space for everyone. We were within easy walking distance from shops, restaurants, grocery shopping and more. The beds were comfortable and the space was very usable. Cuter in person.

The upsides of this property are it's location (generally quiet and out of the way) and it's size (there are 3 bedrooms with a fourth hall area and small bed there too). However, the location does mean a lot of walking to get to the popular areas, and has a long set of interior stairs up to the property. That was fine for us, just beware. The issue with this property was that for the price we paid it was sadly under equipped and quite dirty. There were stains on the very cheap, worn linens. The pillows were terrible and the extra pillows in the wardrobes had no covers. The beds were all very low and very uncomfortable. When we arrived the shower was broken, the coffee maker was broken and there was a single kitchen towel, no knives, no cutting board, etc. As the very basics were lacking, it was no surprise that there were no welcoming touches or helpful recommendations about places to eat or things to do. The host was generally responsive to messages and did bring us a small cutting board and one safety knife, & fixed the shower, but overall did not go out of their way to make our stay better or correct all the various issues we had.The Wi-Fi here was so bad we couldn't even look up basic things like directions or reviews for things in Venice. Forget streaming anything. Overall an overpriced poor experience. Would not go back or recommend!

Venice perfection

The apartment was HUGE especially for Italian standards. The location is absolutely perfect as it is in a cute little neighborhood with everything you need just outside your door. It is a 3 minute walk to the Waterbus (the only affordable way to travel through Venice). We traveled through the entire country of Italy and this location, apartment, and city was the favorite of all 4 of us. We traveled as a family of 4 (mom, dad, 17 year old daughter, and 14 year old son) and everything was perfect!

What a beautiful gem in the perfect neighborhood

My family of 2 adults and 2 kids stayed at Ca'Giulia for 6 nights. It was perfect. Very spacious, comfortable and beautifully appointed apartment, walking distance to everything. For a week we felt like true Venetians. We would get pastries at the bakery down the street for breakfast & necessities from coop next to it, we tried many of the neighborhood restaurants and we had such a great time. Our favorites were Agricole and Venetica for dinner and Times bar became our regular spot for evening cocktails. It was very easy to connect a check in with Freddy and he was very helpful throughout our stay. I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else if we ever make it back. The only downside was the internet, husband tried to work a few hours here and there but it was challenging.

Dark and Tired

The apartment was a good size but it was much darker than in the photos with virtually no natural light in the lounge room and two of the bedrooms. The wifi was terribly slow and patch and the floors were dirty. The lounge has a small TV, but it doesn't have any free to air channels. It only worked in you logged in to your own streaming platform. But because of the slow wifi that was tricky.

Nice neighborhood but won’t stay here again

It’s a nice location in Venice, not far from all the touristy attractions but it still manages to get away from all the noise. Apartment is spacious and has AC. Those are all pluses. The communication with the welcoming contact was not very good, but it was better with the property owner. The shower is small and not that clean. The pillows are not that comfortable and the blankets are very thin. So when we turned on AC because it was hot during the day, we were cold during the night. The blankets in the closets didn’t look clean, so we didn’t use them.

The flat was wonderful, very spacious and clean. We had a bit of trouble with the door lock at the top of the stairs and advised the owner. Close to everything, and only about a 15–20-minute ride from the parking garage suggested by Vaporetto to the stop the flat was located near, and then a short walk to the unit. The area had a nice array of restaurants and shops nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfekt lokation

Virkelig skøn lejlighed med alt vi havde brug for lige nedenfor. Roligt kvarter, indkøb og gode restauranter, cafeer. Lejligheden har god plads til vores familie på 6 og fordeling af soverum fungerede godt. 2 indvendige dørhåndtag drillede lidt, men ellers er alt i lejligheden i orden. Meget nem og effektiv dialog med værten.

Wonderful!

What a wonderful apartment! Tucked away from the super busy spots but close enough to walk anywhere. Such a great neighborhood! The apartment is very cute and spacious and includes anything you might need. Our host Frederico was more than hospitable! He sat down with us and gave all sorts of recommendations from restaurants to sight-seeing to which taxis to take where. Truly a great find! Thank you!

Beautiful Apartment good location.

It past our expectations. We had exceptional communication with Federico y Cristina. They offered many ideas on how to get around and very good restaurant recommendations. I liked how the apartment was very clean. The only downside was that the wifi was a bit slow.
