Beautiful Studio located in the Shropshire countryside near Bridgnorth

The Studio is in completely separate building from the main house and guests are assured privacy and quiet. It overlooks a small orchard where our chickens live and our vegetable garden. Our horses graze outside and are always happy to come over and say hello. Beyond their field you have far reaching views across farmland and trees.

The Studio is a large airy space with a well stocked kitchen area, a large dining area which can seat four people, a sitting area with sofa and arm chair. The sleeping area is curtained off from the rest of the area and guests can enjoy star gazing as they lie in the comfortable king-size bed. The bathroom is a separate room, which shower basin and toilet. We provide soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.

Guests are welcome to enjoy our gardens and we provide outdoor furniture and a teepee for your exclusive use in the orchard. We can provide a barbecue for your use.

The Studio is located 4 miles outside the lovely market town of Bridgnorth and is the perfect place to be your home from home while you explore the beautiful and historic county of Shropshire. Walk in the Shropshire Hills - an area of outstanding natural beauty; visit the amazing IronBridge built by Thomas Telford; have a ride on the famous Severn Valley Steam Railway and go on Safari in the Severn Valley Safari Park.

Beautiful place to stay

A calming, beautiful, serene place to stay. Perfect location for walking and taking in the beautiful views of the countryside. The studio apartment is clean, bright and has everything needed. Karl and Valerie are perfect hosts.

Wonderful Stay

I have had a wonderful stay. My dog is traveling with me, and we both have been made to feel very welcome! It is a great rural getaway! The hosts ate very helpful and considerate. Highly recommend!!

July weekend break

Overall the accommodation was lovely. I had read the reviews before about not much pressure in the shower however unless it was recently fixed it was perfect. Hosts were lovely and helpful. Place is situated a 15 minutes from town. Much recommend to anyone for a lovely break. It was hot could do with a smaller fan to help there is a big one in there but loud to sleep. Only minor things just to help nothing to even worry about. Overall lovely stay and you will love it there

Wonderful rural bolthole

We had a wonderful three night stay at the studio, which is well equipped and very comfortable (especially the soft bed) . The owners live on site and are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the close proximity of the horses and chickens. The location is rural and roads to local towns and villages are single track with passing places. The studio is built into a roof space so has slopping walls which can be little difficult for the very tall person. We would definitely return if staying in the area again. Thank you Valerie and Karl.

Lovely relaxing location

Pros: Nice place to stay, very peaceful and lovely waking up to the sound of nature. The studio has everything you need for a short break. The owner was very welcoming and helpful if we needed anything. Cons: not the best place for dogs with the farm animals roaming free (worrying the dogs may chase the chickens or ducks!!) But if your dogs are better controlled around birds etc.. then this wouldn’t be a problem. The shower is dreadful, definitely needs more power. Otherwise definitely recommend, wonderful little place and very comfortable.

Perfect quiet break for Easter

Me and my partner were looking for a quiet break for Easter and we found it at Valerie's property. It is just as shown in the pictures, it's got everything you need and was perfectly clean. There is also a lot of leaflets for information of the area. Both Valerie and Karl were very nice and communication was easy and quick. The only thing I could complain about is the hot water pressure in the shower, which was low. We would recommend this accommodation to everyone looking for a quiet place. We would like to come back! Thanks :)

Peace and quiet......heaven

We loved our stay. Its got everything you need and more. We simply wanted a place to relax for a couple of days and escape from the mayhem that life brings. The studio is clean and comfortable with all the home comforts. It's surroundings are beautiful with resident horses and rescue chickens. There's a secure area that our dog throughly enjoyed being able to run around in off lead. We will definitely go back.

Amazing tranquil hideaway.

Superb stay, studio is bigger than the pictures look. Lovely quiet setting with the added bonus that we could use the secure dog run. Lots of things to do in the local area. Loved our stay.

Peaceful place to stay.

A quiet and peaceful place to stay with everything provided for a self-catering stay. It is near to interesting places - Much Wenlock, Bridgnorth etc. - and places to eat out. We would be happy to visit again in future.

peace and tranquility

It has been a restful place to stay for the weekend. the sound of bird song and hens and ducks filled the air mingled, with distant sheep bleating was very restful. Two delightful friendly ponies were in the field. Enjoyed seeing the owner using a sythe to cut the field. The studio was well appointed and provided agreat base in which to explore the Shropshire hills.

Lovely welcoming peaceful setting.

We have just returned from our lovely break. Valerie and Karl were really welcoming and helpful and we very much enjoyed visiting Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Ludlow easily from here. The studio flat is very well equipped, including olive oil and salt and pepper. ( i needn't have taken my own) The bed was really comfy and we loved overlooking the horses and chickens. We have never done self-catering before and were very lucky to have this lovely place as our introduction. Thank you so much Valerie.
