Esta casa de campo luminosa, limpia y bien equipada se encuentra en Port Hood Beach y tiene paredes blancas, suelo de pino cálido y techo de catedral de pino. Después de disfrutar de un día en las cálidas aguas de la playa de arena y de una comida cocinada a la parrilla, no hay mejor lugar para ver el atardecer que la terraza que rodea la cabaña. Largas caminatas en la playa donde las águilas se ciernen son buenas para el cuerpo y el alma.
Para los amantes del golf, se encuentra a 25 minutos del campo de golf recientemente desarrollado en la ciudad de Inverness, llamado Cabot Links.

Beautiful view of the sunset.

The cottage was great and so close to the beach. The boys were thrilled to discover the trucks in the shed. The outdoor shower was a plus. We had a wonderful vacation.

The cottage was perfect. Full size fridge, oven, even a dishwasher. Beautiful patio with BBQ, table and chairs. Love the use of the washer/dryer. Spectacular views of the ocean and beach and proximity. We came up for 4 nights. Beth's cottage was just what the doctor ordered. Thank you Marty!

Beautiful Spot

Port Hood is a small and lovely community. The cottage is a stones throw from the beach and has everything you need to enjoy your time. The third bed room as a walk through, which isn't the most convenient. And there was little more dog hair than we expected. Over all good value for money - we would go back.

Excellent vacation! We hope to stay again next summer! Location is excellent. Accommodation was perfect for our family. There are a few repairs but knowing that the owners have been away due to recent restrictions, that is to be expected. We had a fabulous vacation!

Beautiful cottage and location

We enjoyed our stay in Port Hood. It was our first time in that area and it is a beautiful town. We loved the bike trails and were also able to find beautiful places to kayak. The town has everything you need and everyone was very helpful and friendly. The cottage was beautiful as was the view. It is a short walk to the beach and the weather allowed us to enjoy everything this beautiful area has to offer.

Absolutely perfect location if visiting Port Hood.

We had a fantastic visit to Port Hood N.S. The beach cottage was exactly as described. Perfect location. Everything needed was available at cottage. Had dinner one night at the Clove Hitch did some shopping at the Co-op supermarket.Got to see a 550 lb tuna landed at the Murphy Pond marina. We would highly recommend this property. Thanks Marty we enjoyed our visit.

Absolutely amazing

Absolutely amazing, homey, peaceful, great views. The home was very well laid out for our family and had all the amenities one would need. Not in a high traffic area, quiet, and perfect views of sunsets every night overlooking the ocean. Could not have asked for anything better. Wife and I agree, we have to go back to this house.

Just Perfect

Everything is just as you expect from the write up and pictures. Your just steps to the beach and beautiful views. Your an easy walk to some stores and eateries. Very relaxing cottage feel. We will be recommending friends to this lovely cottage as it has lots of space for sleeping. All of Cape Breton is an easy travel from this home base. Thanks for having us!! Ali & Wes

This cottage is a family cottage that has so many fine memories of my son and his cousins and my wife's family of sisters, brother ,nephews and nieces. When renters stay and they comment about the space, the closeness to the beach, wonderful view of the sunset, community of great neighbors and working people of Port Hood. One feels really good. A Slice of heaven

We loved this cottage!! The personnal touches, the decor inside & out make this a special place. We were pleasantly surprised that there was no TV, this certainly added to the disconnect, and the re-connect to nature and each other. The proximity to awesome scenery, great pubs and restaurants with ceileighs every night made this a vacation to remember. We hope to return...

To visitors and family this cottage does speak to a place to relax and refocus. It has a breath of openness and warmth. From the cottage deck you can experience a sunset that leaves you breathless. Family and visitors have come to say that Cape Breton and especially Port Hood no matter how you cut it is their "Chunk of Heaven" or "Slice of Heaven" we all need.
