Who wouldn’t want to stay in trendy Camden Town on a trip to London? This first floor apartment is just a short walk from where it’s all hip and happening. At the same time it is on a quiet street surrounded by trees.

Plenty of thought (not to mention money) has gone into the renovation of this 1-bed first floor apartment.

The first thing you’ll probably notice is how the high ceilings and big windows give the place a real sense of spaciousness. Nowhere more so than in the lounge, in which you should immediately feel at home. That’s thanks to the fireplace, bookshelves, dining table and widescreen TV, which you can watch from the comfy sofa.

You’ll find another big window in the bedroom, together with a beautifully presented king bed and mirrored wardrobe in which to store your stuff.

The bathroom has been refurbished too and features a bath with shower. And the kitchen’s new as well, with a shiny white floor that matches the colour of the units that house an integral oven, fridge and freezer.

This place really has all the style of some of the best hotels, with the added advantage of all the facilities and freedom you get when you’re at home.

Located on a quiet, leafy residential road, all Camden’s eclectic mix of market stalls, shops, bars, restaurants and live music and theatre venues are literally on your doorstep. So if you’re out late, there’s no need to worry about how you’re getting home - a quick stroll will get you there.

There’s plenty more to see nearby, including one of the capital’s biggest tourist attractions - London Zoo, which sits on the northern tip of Regent’s Park - itself a great place for a leisurely walk, picnic and snooze in the sun.

Primrose Hill is close by too, from where you can see some of the most stunning views of London. And for sports fans, if you’re looking for somewhere to stay while the cricket is on, Lord’s is just over the far side of the park, a short bus or cab ride away.

Of course, you’ll probably want to explore more of London than the places on your doorstep. Handy, then, that Camden Town tube station is less than five minutes walk away. It’s on the Northern Line, with direct links to Hampstead, Leicester Square, Waterloo and The Oval, and is just two stops from the mainline railway stations of Euston and King’s Cross.

Because Camden Town is such a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, plenty of buses serve the area and connect you with the rest of London. There are Night Buses and London’s famous black cabs too, so you can get back to the apartment whatever time you decide to call it a day.

As if the area hasn’t got enough going for it, Camden also has its own canal, so you can take a super-relaxing boat trip along it from Camden Lock.

We provide our guests with a `home away from home` experience. Therefore, we would really appreciate all our guests to leave the place as close to as how they found it. Any excessive mess that requires our cleaners to go beyond the standard check out clean (changing linen, preparing the property for the next guest and restocking of general house supplies etc.) will be charged to the guests. Please also note that we will charge a penalty fee of £500 if any of our house rules are broken.

The location and spaciousness of the flat were great, but the furnishings were quite shabby, and most importantly the scaffolding on the building blocks all views and is shocking that this was not disclosed. The construction noise is also significant and continuous from 8am onwards. There was no way that I could work from the flat and had to make other arrangements. All in all I don’t feel like this was a good value for the premium price point paid and the pictures shown are misleading to the current state of the flat.
