Relaxing stay

We had a really peaceful time at Sam’s Shepherd’s Hut. A restful location and lovely, cosy interior. Sam was a helpful, accommodating host and we couldn’t have asked for more.

Our stay in the shepherds hut

We had a lovely weekend, the hut was beautiful and peaceful with surroundings to match. The hot tub was great with amazing features in it and views around it. Sam was lovely on arrival and made us feel very welcome, I would definitely recommend for a getaway!

Sam our host made us feel extremely welcome, showed us how to work hot tub ect. Explained we’re local facilities were and some mental walks The hut was great had all we needed for a few nights stays. We came to relaxe and be away from the world thou rained a lot the views were lovely and the wild life kept us amused from sheep to magpies and butterflies Well worth the visit Thanks Sam

Great Shepherds hut

Lovely spacious Shepherds hut, beautifully decoratedin calming colours. Comfy bed and lovely shower. Super hot tub with views over open countryside. Lovely host who was keen to ensure we had everything we needed. Thank you for sharing your space with us! We had a relaxing couple of days.

Excellent communication with Sam before arrival.On arrival she was very welcoming.Throughout our stay she was very accommodating.Excellent local food recommendations.Really loved the fact that she does not use chlorine in her hot tubs but more environmentally and humanly friendly solutions. So nice not to stink of chlorine after using it, and skin felt so much nicer. Bed really comfy, and well equipped kitchen.Would recommend to friends.

A hidden Treasure

Absolutely gorgeous views, the accommodation was beautiful and super clean, the hot tub was lovely, the massage offered, made me feel like a new woman and the host Sam was absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend! A hidden treasure. Will definitely return!

An amazing stay

We had a wonderful weekend in this shepherds hut. Sam was a great host, excellent communication before the stay and when we arrived. The hut was exactly as the photos depict on the website. Once the heater had done its job, it was really cosy and warm in there despite the outside temperature. Can't fault it. Would highly recommend. Pevensey Bay/Eastbourne are well worth a visit. Geo coffee shop in the village is lovely. If you want to go to the Observatory Stargazing evenings - book in advance, it was sold out for the night we wanted.

Midweek stay for 2 nights mid November

Great little mini get away. Facilities per perfect. Hut was small and basic but very cosy and we didn’t want for anything. Very clean and warm. Bathroom facilities very good. Hot tub was a lovely little treat. Greeted by the owner on arrival. There was a lot of safety information to take in re hot water tanks, radiators, coffee pots, hot tubs, automatic lights, slippery steps. Which of course were important to relay but perhaps a little overwhelming in the dark after a long drive. Perhaps some of this information could be printed into a little information pack to enhance the experience. Would defo recommend.
