Villa Ampela is a newly built holiday home for rent, located 600m from the beautiful sea of Crete Island.
The interiors have been tastefully furnished according to the trends of the moment and are equipped with every comfort to ensure maximum comfort for the guests who stay there. The villa can accommodate up to 10 people thanks to 4 bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the living room. Next to Villa Ampela there is an identical villa, Villa Zaneti; on request the 2 villas can be joint to host a big family or a large group of friends, thus having 20 beds in total.
Outside, both villas have their own independent entrance, a garden and a private swimming pool. In addition, each unit offers an outdoor dining area with table, chairs and barbecue: the ideal place to spend pleasant moments of relaxation and fun with friends and family!
The location of the villa for rent is perfect for easily reaching the most beautiful beaches, Agia Marina with its shops, bars, restaurants, tavernas and services and all the other characteristic places of the island of Crete.

At guests' disposal: private fenced garden, private swimming pool (8x4,5 metres; depth: 1,4 metres), equipped outdoor area with table and chairs to dine outside, barbecue, 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning in bedrooms and living room, close to the village and the beaches of Agia Marina, internet wi-fi connection

Distances: Agia Marina (shops and beaches) at 600 m, Chania (historical centre) at 12 km, Chania airport at 30 km.

Ground floor: entrance on a wide living room with access to the garden and a sofa bed, dining room and kitchen (4 electric fires, fridge, freezer, oven and dishwasher), laundry room with washing machine, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (that can be turned into a double bedroom) and en-suite bathroom with shower, 3 double bedrooms each with and en-suite bathroom with shower.

Excellent, well built villa with a good layout and high quality equipment including barbecue. Lovely, well maintained swimming pool too. Perfect setting with everything you need for a relaxing summer holiday 10 minutes or less walk away. Nearest taverna 3 minutes walk (Rokka) lovely food and very friendly. The villa owner was also friendly and efficient and on time for our arrival and departure.

I expected to have enough toilet paper, hand and body soap, and minimum equipment for the kitchen (only one pot and pan). Few glasses for 9 people). A minimum quantity for dishwasher and washing machine (I had to buy also salt and rinse aid) etc.. Too expensive without all these things. REPLY The villa is self-catering, and we apologize for the dishwasher salt being missing.We will make sure to better stock the kitchen equipment.

We were two families with four adults and two teenagers renting the house for one week in July. We especially liked that all the bedrooms had their own bathroom and the modern style. It is walking distance to everywhere, restaurants, supermarkets and the beautiful beach. Only thing we missed was some nice lounge furniture to hang out in in the evening.

It was a very nice house with at a convenient walking distance from supermarkets, other stores, restaurants and the beach. We would have appreciated an awning over the sliding doors leading out from the living room area to be able to create shade, in addition to the parasols that were there. Also, plastic glasses (re-usable) for use around the pool area would seem like a good idea to avoid shattered glass in and around the pool.

Our stay

The villa lay out is very nice, the beds were very comfortable and location great. Few minute walk to the bus stop, beach and local shops. The owner was there on arrival and exchanged numbers in case of any issues. He was nice and polite and spoke great English.We did unfortunately encounter a few issues during our stay.The local neighbours have 2 outdoor dogs who bark at anything going past which was very annoying.The glass roof of the bedroom corridor leaked the first few days as it was raining which was followed by condensation dripping constantly for days so we mopped up numerous times to avoid anyone slipping.One morning 3 men appeared in the garden, they were gardeners mowing the lawn at 7:30, woke the whole house. I messaged the owner to say is this a joke? He said he didn’t know they were coming that early and apologised. They shouldn’t be coming at all whilst we were there and not expecting anyone. This happened again when the pool cleaner came. The white small square filter cover you see around the pool fell through when stepped on and injured someone’s foot. We made him aware and he said he’d send someone to fix in 3 days. No one came, we kept a lounger over it for the next week to avoid any more accidents. We were then charged 30 on check out from our deposit for it. I did complain as for me there’s nothing to say don’t walk on them and it’s wear and tear so we shouldn’t be charged, Especially after the other issues we had. Such a shame after a great stay.

Logement très bien situé à Agia Marina. Plage accessible à pieds sinon 3 min en voiture. La maison était très propre et très bien équipée avec des matériaux et des accessoires de qualité. Literie et serviettes de bain impeccables. Idéale pour passer des vacances en famille ou entre amis en Crète.

rès bonne expérience, j’ai passé un bon séjour. Le seul problème est que le propriétaire a tenté de retirer de l’argent de la caution pour une baie vitrée qui était cassée mais que nous n’avons jamais ouvert durant le séjour, la fissure était probablement déjà présente donc il est important de bien faire le tour des lieux en arrivant pour éviter ce genre de soucis. À part ça, la villa était fidèle aux photos, nombreux équipement (sèche cheveux, machine à laver, four, grill pain, etc). À proximité de la plage et de pas mal de restaurants. Autres bémols la piscine était légèrement froide en ce mois d’Avril nous n’avons pas pu nous baigner. Je recommande tout de même !

Ideally situated property

The villa is situated on a quiet road that does get the odd car driving past. It is a 5 min walk to the beach and there are endless tavernas to walk to (1-5 mins). Additionally there is a bus stop a 2/3 minute walk away. The villa itself is nice and modern inside, with a lovely pool to laze around. We had a couple of things that needed attention, however, the owner came out within an hour or so. Communication was great. All in all, we had a great stay - make sure that you visit Samaria Gorge and Balos Lagoon

Es macht grundsätzlich Spass in dieser Villa wohnen zu dürfen. Sie ist 30 Minuten vom Flughafen Chania entfernt und in ein paar Minuten sind diverse Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gut zu Fuss zu erreichen.
