Villa Maria, Close to Sandy Beach & Amenities


Sinatsakis Villas is a charming holiday complex comprising three separate and autonomous villas, each one with its own private swimming pool: Villa Anna, Villa Maria, and Villa Ioanna, located side by side.
Villa Maria is a one-bedroom villa covering 75 m2. It can accommodate up to 2 guests in beds and up to 4 guests if necessary, using a sofa bed or a single bed in the bedroom. The villa is fully furnished and equipped with all the essential amenities.


Indoor Layout
Entering the villa on the ground floor, you will find a living room featuring a 50" HDTV, along with an office, and access to a balcony that also leads to the garden & pool area. The comfortable double sofa can accommodate the 2 additional guests. The fully equipped kitchen and an indoor dining table provide all essentials for a self-catered holiday. As you pass through the hallway, you will find the bedroom of the villa with a Queen-size bed and one single bed, as well as the bathroom, offering a shower and a washing machine.


Outdoor Area
Outdoors, there is an organised fenced area with a relaxing environment surrounded by trees and flowers. More specifically, the outdoor facilities of Villa Maria include:
-A 30 sq m. private swimming pool equipped with sun beds and umbrellas
-Fully equipped charcoal barbecue facilities with an outdoor sink
-Outdoor dining area for al fresco dining
-Lawn covered area for the kids to play, next to the pool
-We offer bicycles upon request
-Parking space inside the villa premises


-Accommodation cost excludes Climate Resilience Tax. The amount for the accommodation type is set at EUR2 per night from April to October and EUR0.5 per night from November to March, payable upon check-in.

We had a delightful two weeks at the end of June in this lovely house. Just a short walk into the village of Pigi where the village shop had everything we needed and the local taverna Zorbas was great. Beautiful Garden and pool area. We would recommend it for relaxing holiday on this beautiful island.

The villa was exactly as listed, it is a few minutes walk from the village centre. The manger Mathem could not be more helpful. It was the first time the wife and I had been away with children in 21 years. The villa was lovely and clean and was clean every 3 days. The locals made us feel totally welcomed. It was only 30 minutes bus ride to Rethymno old town and beaches, both are beautiful. I give it 10 out of 10.

Wonderful Holiday

Our vacation was simply wonderful! Everything matched the description 100%, and we felt at home right away. The exceptionally polite and courteous manner of the host, who personally welcomed us and explained the accommodation in detail, is particularly noteworthy. Another highlight was the very friendly cat in the garden, with whom our children had so much fun. Without her, the vacation would have been only half as enjoyable. We highly recommend this accommodation and would gladly return anytime.

The best place in Pigi village

Villa Maria is exactly as it shows in the pictures.It is a short stroll into town where there are restaurants bar, local butchers and supermarkets. The facilities in the house were excellent. The owner filled the fridge with food and drink before we arrived. The cleaners came in every other day and couldn’t have been more helpful and were really lovely ladies.I would definitely recommend this property. We were very impressed in our two weeks stay and will definitely come back. Excellent communication and host.

Kreta ist wunderschön

Wir haben es sehr genossen, auf der Insel hat man alles, mankann sich hervorragend erholen, aber auch sehr viel sehen. Die Villa liegt etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum, zu Fuß kann man ein kleines Dorf mit einem Supermarkt, einen Metzger und einem griechischen Restaurant gut erreichen. Das Haus hat alles was man benötigt, der Pool ist klein, aber ausreichend. Die Menschen sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir werden auf jedenfall wieder kommen. Vielen Dank !

Superbe extérieur

Le jardin et la piscine sont extrêmement bien entretenus. L’espace barbecue et table de jardin sont très agréables. Le responsable de la location est très gentil et disponible. L’intérieur est assez basique mais très convenable. Les points négatifs sont l’inconfort du lit et l’obscurité de la pièce à vivre (pas très important quand on reste souvent dehors).

Great Holiday

The house is great. Garden is huge with a nice BBQ-corner and a beautiful Pool. Parking space right on the property. I recommend a car because the house is located between a small village (5-10min by foot) and the beaches (15min). Would definitely recommend this house as it is a great place to have some peaceful days!

Wirklich schöner und erholsamer Kreta Urlaub

Meine Freundin und ich waren insgesamt zwei Wochen in dem Haus. Es war ein wirklich schöner und erholsamer Urlaub. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen, was ich auch empfehlen würde. So war das Haus ein guter Startpunkt für Ausflüge in fast alle Richtungen (Chania, Iraklion, usw.). Zum Strand waren es nicht einmal 5 Minuten. Zu Fuß gut erreichbar ist der kleine Ort Pigi. Dort gibt es einen kleinen Bäcker, Supermarkt und Schlachter wo man alles bekommt, was man so alltäglich braucht. Die Gastgeber sind wirklich sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und die Ausstattung super. Der Grill im Garten ist großartig. Von den Gästen in den Nachbarhäusern haben wir nicht viel mitbekommen. Die drei Häuser sind sehr gut voneinander getrennt. Wir würden das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Sehr schön gepflegtes Grundstück (komplett umzäunt) mit eigenem Pool und Garten. Das Haus liegt am Rande eines kleinen Ortes (Bäcker, Fleischer, Tavernen und Supermarkt) von dem aus man gut die Insel erkunden kann. Es stehen zwei Fahrräder zur freien Verfügung. Das war toll.  Für zwei bis drei Personen ist mehr als ausreichend Platz vorhanden. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Obst und Wein standen als Willlkommensgruß bereit. Drei Sonnenliegen sind vorhanden und ausreichend Schirme und Schattenspendende Bäume.  Sonnenliegenauflagen wären sehr schön gewesen (das war unbequem). Der immer ansprechbare Conciergeservice (über Telefon oder Whatsapp) war schnell, kompetent und hilfsbereit bei Fragen zum Haus oder Ausflügen. Im Bad sind wenig Ablageflächen oder Haken vorhanden und eine Dusche wäre besser als in einer Wanne zu duschen aber prinzipiell ist es ein sehr privates und hübsches Ferienhaus. Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir waren schon mehrmals in Griechenland aber mit dieser Villa war es diesmal besonders schön.

Rundum sorglos in Traumvilla

Wir haben von 13. bis 27. September zwei großartige Urlaubswochen in der Villa Maria verlebt. Die Anreise vom Flughafen Heraklion gestaltete sich unkompliziert und nach einer knappen Stunde waren wir mit unserem Mietwagen an der Villa Maria angekommen. Dort wartete der Besitzer bereits auf uns und zeigte uns das Haus und alle wichtigen Einrichtungen. Das Haus selbst sah genauso schön aus, wie es uns im Internet präsentiert wurde. Es war sauber, aufgeräumt und wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl. Der Garten und der Pool waren ebenso einladend und nicht einsehbar, so dass wir in unserer Privatsphäre nicht gestört wurden. Sitzgelegenheiten und Sonnenschirme machten den Aufenthalt im Garten zu jeder Tageszeit sehr angenehm. Alle drei Tagen wurde sowohl das Haus, der Garten und der Pool gereinigt und aufgeräumt. Insgesamt war der Besitzer und das Personal sehr aufmerksam und sie waren jederzeit über WhatsApp und Telefon ansprechbar. Die Villa liegt ca. 300 Meter von dem Ort Pigi entfernt. Dort gibt es alles, was man braucht. Drei Tavernen, zwei Bäcker, eine Apotheke, einen Metzger, einen Supermarkt. Alle Geschäfte sind wirklich klasse. Mit dem Auto ist man in 2 Minuten am Meer und in 10 Minuten im wunderschöne Rethymnon. Fazit: entspannter Urlaub in einem toller Haus. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Villa in beautiful village location.

The villa's location is excellent for anyone wanting to explore that area of Crete - there are numerous places of interest for day trips. The pool was fantastic and the views from the end of the garden over to the mountains was breathtaking. The villa is described as having a fully equipped kitchen, whereas I would describe it as a simple kitchen for basic needs. More mugs needed to make full use of the dishwasher. Also we were unfortunate that we suffered a 24 hour water cut whilst we were there. The owner and cleaner were both charming and helpful - being supplied with some of the owners own olive oil to enjoy whilst there was a lovely touch.

Très agréable séjour - villa tout confort avec sa piscine

Pigi est vraiment bien situé pour explorer les endroits touristiques de la Crete , tout en bénéficiant du calme loin de la foule et des grands hôtels des plages de Rethymnon. Un grand merci à l'équipe d'Etouri pour leur réactivité , leur disponibilité et leur grande gentillesse. Tout a été parfait . Nous conseillons fortement l'excursion à Santorin après avoir bien sûr visité la Crête

Nous avons passer 15 jours dans la villa maria. L acceuil fut éxellent, mathiew qui s est occupé de nous était vraiment super agréable. Merci encore! La villa avec son jardin et sa piscine privé est superbe,tout y est . Parfait pour les enfant il y as tout le materiel .jusqu au siege enfant sur le velo. Beaucoup de service sont proposer, meme des petite course pour votre arrivé. Tres Pratique ! Nous avons passer de super vacance la crete est magnifique. si nous revenons un jour en crete ce sera surement labas sans soucie ! Je recommande

Best ever villa !!! 100% recommended

This is a fantastic villa. We were with my son (4 years old) and we were very happy. The villa has everything you will need to spend a great holidays. For us the best of the villa is the outside, I mean, the swimming pool and the garden are amazing and we spent a lot of time there. The owner Mathew was very helpful and he was always available for any question. Also the company who manage the villa was very helpful and they made everything easy. If we come back to Crete we will book this villa again for sure. If you book this villa you will no regret at all. Thanks for everything

Amazing fromage start to the end

A very Nice place to chill, close to the beach, next to a Town ! The villa got a wonderful garden with a pool and barbecue grill ! The villa is completely new thats make a big difference ! And we cant forget the very friendly team and especially the house manager who take care of you. If you were hesitating ,well dont hesitate no more !!!

Fantastic.

The garden was real great, with sun and shade and a nice big pool. The Villa was also perfect, however, you could not sleep on the couch, but they promised that in future would be resolved. Internet was also perfect. A fantastic experience. We'd like to recommend this

Perfect Villa for a Perfect Holiday :-)

We had the most amazing stay at Villa Maria, we arrived on the 8th June and stayed for 10 nights. From beginning to end, Mathew, Rob & Sophia couldn't have possibly have done anymore for us if they tried - such lovely kind people. All three of them were a phone call or a message away and were always happy to help with whatever we needed help with, whether it was to book a taxi, a restaurant or advice on places to visit, eat or drink. Lovely villa with all of the amenities you may need to help you enjoy your stay, pool was perfect too. Such a lovely little village, really peaceful & quiet but a quick 5-10 minute drive and you are in the hustle and bustle of Rethymno town. We also found the mobile app so helpful, perfect for use out and about when needing directions, important phone numbers & recommendations for local sightseeing & things to do. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying at this villa to anyone, we would also be happy to visit again sometime in the future. Thank you to everyone for your hospitality, I am sure anyone who stays here will also have the same view as us.

LOVELY !
