Very Romantic Palapalodge with amazing view

This beautiful lodge consists of 3 palapas, a beautiful swimming pool and several terraces. The lodge is located high in the westernmost corner of the resort and therefore the wind can do its cooling effect at any time. The house has an unprecedentedly beautiful view over the coastline and the green hills of Bandabou. The resort has its own idyllic mini beach with a palapa only for the residents of Cas Abou.
The main palapa has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a porch (covered terrace). The other palapas (2) each consist of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a terrace. In total there are 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a beautiful swimming pool, a kitchen and several terraces. The palapas are built of wood and bamboo panels and the roof is made of palm leaves. This gives a huge tropical feeling and is also quite unique for Curacao. Due to the nice constant wind there are few to no mosquitoes or other vermin and it is not too hot in the evening.There is an information folder available which will be sent after booking. Our property manager Annelies will receive you in the palapalodge and show you around. Annelies is always available if there are any questions

Amazing Caribbean Getaway

The palapa lodge is the perfect place to get away from the doldrums of everyday life. The layout encourages a group dynamic while providing smaller places for individuals to escape. The fully functional kitchen allowed our group to cook several meals on our own. The entire group enjoyed our stay immensely.

A Slice of Paradise

We couldn't get over how giddy we were the moment we arrived and took in the phenomenal views this place offered. There wasn't a bad spot to see the spectacular sunsets as well as the natural terrain of the island. It was so private and quiet, we felt so spoiled. My greatest hope is there is no development of this land in the future so we can come back and experience this paradise, again.The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The panoramic windows added to the the romantic ambiance. For the most part, we slept well as there is coolish air coming in if you have the windows open. Some screens were missing but we left the windows open anyway to help with air flow. The ceiling fans really helped. Pillows could have been nicer.The pool was much more spacious than we thought and we took full advantage every day and night. It really helped to take the heat off before going to bed.The kitchen, although a bit small, was equipped with everything we needed to cook full meals. Coffee Maker was confusing. The very large refrigerator with freezer was perfect. Very low water pressure made it difficult to take quick showers. The washing machine was useless, and the bathrooms need a deep cleaning. This place is uniquely perfect for a total fun island experience. It isn't fancy in a high end way but that's the point. It is charming and we would come back again in a heartbeat. Oh, and Cas Abao beach next door is PERFECTION!

Wunderschöne Palapa mit Traumaussicht

Die 3 Palapa liegen am Ende einer Straße in einer gated community, so dass es keinen Durchgangsverkehr gibt. Die Lage ist traumhaft. Ein wunderschöner Blick aufs Meer mit perfektem Sonnenuntergang und auch ein wunderschöner Blick in die Berge. Auch für Familien die perfekte Location, wenn man sich etwas abseits des Trubels erholen möchte. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt. Die Palapas und der Aussenbereich verfügen über viel Platz, die für Curacao typische Brise ersetzt perfekt die Klimaanlage. Die Fenster haben einen guten Mückenschutz; während wir dort waren, gab es wenig Mücken. Die Küche ist gut bestückt und es gibt im Aussenbereich einen guten Webergrill. Ebenso eine Waschmaschine und Trockenleinen unter dem großen Palapa. Sehr schöne Strände in der Umgebung. Gute Restaurants ab 20 min Entfernung. Ein Auto ist auf Curacao immer notwendig, wenn man sich auf der Insel bewegen möchte. Dies war nicht unsere erste Reise nach Curacao, aber zum ersten Mal auf dieser Seite der Insel. Wir sind begeistert und werden sicherlich wiederkommen. Mit guten Gewissen können wir 5 Punkte vergeben.
