Casa Oleandros our spacious and inviting 3-bedroom villa located in the beautiful western Algarve, providing the perfect combination of relaxation, and convenience. Boasting stunning golf course views, expansive outdoor spaces, and a private swimming pool, Casa Oleandros is ideal for families, groups, or anyone looking for a well-connected holiday retreat with high-speed fibre optic internet.

Upper Entrance Level:

Open-plan lounge with comfortable seating, dining table, and chairs for indoor dining.
Entertainment options include a Smart TV with access to Amazon Prime and Netflix (using guests' own credentials) and cable TV with local channels.
Full-length balcony with lounging furniture and scenic golf course views, accessible through patio doors.
Fully equipped kitchen with integrated appliances, including a dishwasher, cooker with hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer.
Outdoor balcony featuring a shaded alfresco dining area, perfect for outdoor meals.
Separate WC for convenience.

Lower Ground Level:

Master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (full-sized bath, WC, and shower) and direct access to the pool terrace.
Two twin bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms (shower cubicle and WC), also with pool terrace access.
Patio doors in all bedrooms open directly to the pool area, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow.

Outdoor Area:

Expansive terrace area with an 8m x 4m private swimming pool, with depths of 1.20m to 2.05m.
Electric pool cover for added safety for children and to help maintain water warmth.
Please note: pool heating is not included in the rental rate but can be arranged for an additional supplement.
Landscaped gardens for relaxation and recreational areas, including a table tennis setup on the terrace for added fun.

Exceptional Villa

Large 3 bed villa with outstanding facilities in a quiet location. Would highly recommend, having stayed in Salama on several occasions previously, this is by far the best Villa we have stayed at, and look forward to a return visit.

Amazing villa in a great location

The villa exceeded our expectations - was even better than the photos. Loved the pool and inflatables. Also in a great location near a small supermarket, excellent pizza place and lovely Salema with lots of nice restaurants and a beach. A great holiday.

A Perfect Getaway – Highly Recommended!

We had a fantastic week at the villa in Budens and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house is beautifully designed, perfectly equipped, and incredibly comfortable – nothing was missing. The view is stunning, the garden is wonderfully maintained, and the pool was a true highlight, especially for our son.The location is ideal: peaceful and private, yet close to gorgeous beaches, charming restaurants, and convenient shops. You can really feel how much love and care Chris & Vicky have put into this place. Everything was spotless, cozy, and felt like a true home away from home.We’re already looking forward to coming back – thank you for a wonderful stay!

The perfect 2 week stay!

We had an absolutely amazing time in this villa, we couldn’t fault it at all! It had everything we needed and more. The pool was perfect, we spent the majority of our time out there enjoying the sun! Indoors was also great, with everything we needed, as well as the outdoor spaces. We would love to return again the future & there’s nowhere else we’d rather stay than this beautiful villa! We had a wonderfully relaxing week, thanks to Paul & Chris and their beautiful villa. They made the whole process seamless. We have been to many villas over the years but this was perfect for our family of 5, it had everything we needed and more. The location is lovely and quiet, but only 5 mins to nearest supermarket and 5/10 minutes down to Salema. We would highly recommend the villa and the area!

Perfect week in Budens

We had a wonderful time at Paul and Christine's house. The house met all our expectations. It is comfortably furnished with all modern equipent The bonus is the swimming pool adjacent to the three bedrooms. In the morning you can jump straight into the pool from your bath. Who would not want that? Many thanks Paul and Christine.

A relaxing stay in a beautiful villa where the owners have thought of everything.

We wanted a holiday where we could get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet avoiding the routine of everyday life. Casa Oleandros delivered all this and so much more! From our initial dealings with the owner through to our arrival at a spotlessly clean villa in a beautiful location everything was faultless. Chris and her family have thought of everything to ensure that their guests want for nothing and we enjoyed long lazy days by the pool and eating outside in the evening. Beautifully furnished, well equipped and just a very happy place to be - the owners have put a lot of thought into Casa Oleandros and we felt lucky to spend time there. We will be back!

Ideal villa for family holiday by the pool & beach

Ideal location for a family holiday. 1.5hrs from Faro airport. Pool is great (we had it heated) and nice surprise to find outside cupboard full of inflatables and pool/beach games. Artificial grass area also useful for games with the kids. Road beyond the front hedges but very quiet and only used for neighbouring villas, so felt very private. Views are amazing over the golf course and to the sea. House very clean. Air con throughout (not just bedrooms) worked great (and much needed). Salema Beach is 5 min drive away and is lovely, with some restaurants (we tried Atlantico which had good seafood and ice cream for kids). Safe beach for kids to play and swim in. Supermarket within 5 in drive. Aldi in Vila do Bispo was the best local one (15 min drive).

Beautiful Villa

We had a wonderful vacation with 4 adults and one child (7). Enough space in and around the house and pool to relax. With the pool heating, it was completely fine to go for a swim in the morning before breakfast, when it was still in shade. We loved the stunning view over the golf course (also as non-golfer) and to the ocean. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine and a very well working gas barbecue outside made it really comfortable. The water in the shower was really hot and my husband absolutely loved the rainshower. With the car it's only about 10 min to the nearest beaches. We can recommend Praio do Zavial with nice clear water. All in all it was a great vacation in a beautiful villa and we already think of booking it again.

Absolutely stunning property. Upside down style with lounge and kitchen upstairs to make the most of the view. Downstairs bedrooms all comfortably furnished and well appointed. Lovely and quiet at night. We paid for the pool to be heated which would have been worth it if the weather had been better. Good base for exploring and nights out in Lagos. Close to supermarket and a couple of place to eat within the complex. If we could guarantee the weather we’d be back !

Lovely Villa and a Warm Welcome

We have stayed at many PDF villas over the years, all of which have been lovely. However the difference with this villa was the warm welcome we received. Communication with the hosts was very friendly and efficient, and the provision of a welcome pack was really appreciated after a very early start. Overall, great villa, location and hosts!

We have been the owners of Casa Oleandros since we completed building in 2003. We were born and raised in England, though have lived all our lives since 1980 in Switzerland. During that time our twins came into the world and we have become retirees, living near Zurich.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Twenty years ago we wanted to find an attractive place in the sun - somewhere which we and the family would get pleasure from staying in, and in a location that would appeal to visitors. That’s how we homed in on this villa and resort. Our house is high on a hill affording panoramic views of the golf village and the countryside beyond. From our terrace there is an expansive, 240 degree view of the south western Algarve - unspoiled countryside as far as the eye can see, with Sagres, Europe’s furthest corner, only 15 kilometres away.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our villa has everything we or you could wish to find in a holiday home. We ourselves spend 2/3 months each year in Casa Oleandros, enough to know how well everything functions and to experience the sense of well-being the whole place exudes. We have carried out regular improvements over the years (notably the stylish master en-suite) and more are to follow. We deliberately ensure the furnishings and equipment meet the two P test : pleasing and practical!

For aesthetic and environmental reasons we added the artificial lawn 6 years ago, and this, combined with the pool and mature garden, means the house is as nice outside as it is inside. We are sure you will feel the same….

Of course, we haven’t yet mentioned the weather. This is a further benefit of our part of the Algarve as a holiday destination - irrespective of the season, so many outdoor sports and activities can be enjoyed to the full without having needed to travel to far-away places.

We are confident your stay in this very special and truly authentic part of the Algarve would be immensely enjoyable. It is gratifying that many of our summer rental visitors come back year after year - not just to this area, but specifically to our villa.
