Relax in harmony with nature! This wooden house, which sleeps 9 people, offers serenity and harmony, combined with gourmet delights and excellent local wines. A winning formula!

The house was built by the owner, and he has been careful to make it as eco-friendly as possible. It is a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary design. The ground floor is a spacious open-plan living room with two comfortable sofas, an armchair and flatscreen TV, next to a large, traditional wood-burning stove. The dining area has a beautiful wooden table which seats 10 people. It is next to the wooden, fitted open fully equipped kitchen, which is well equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and toaster. The wide wooden staircase leads upstairs to the bedrooms.

The outside space has been as sensitively created as the interiors. The front door leads out onto a wide, raised veranda with a dining table for alfresco meals and a seating area, where guests can relax and enjoy the beauty of their surroundings. The extensive fenced gardens include an organic orchard and vegetable garden, where guests can pick their own produce.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: A cosy, attic bedroom, with wooden floors and pitched ceilings, there is a double bed and two single beds, with a comfortable armchair, flatscreen TV and wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: This second room has two single beds, with hanging space and a flat-screen TV.
Bedroom 3: A charming bedroom, with twin single beds and a wardrobe.

Bathroom
There is a spacious bathroom on the ground floor with brick walls and contemporary fixtures. It has a large glass shower, twin basins, a WC and guests’ own private sauna.

The house is set on the hillside with wonderful views over stunning countryside. Guests can enjoy undisturbed nature with walks through the forest or vineyards, hiking trails, cycle routes and river cruises. For even more relaxation, the St Martin Spa (Terme Sveti Martin) is 10 minutes away.

The medieval city of Cakovec, with its famous castle, is just 15 minutes away. It is well-known for its excellent cuisine and local wines, plus there is a daily market, where farmers sell their freshest produce. Franjo Tudman International Airport in Zagreb is a 1 hour 15 minute drive away.
