Court House is just 100 yards from the sea. The town has excellent transport links and well known for the famous Elvis Festival. Nearby there are numerous attractions including Porthcawl’s many beaches, the Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl Promenade Princess and Trecco Bay Fun Fair. Merthyr Mawr Sand Dunes are situated about 1-mile outside the village of Merthyr Mawr; they are a huge network of dunes, rolling over towards the Ogmore/Porthcawl coast and once the largest sand dune system in Europe. The dunes are very popular with families, runners and local wildlife enthusiasts and there are a host of walks locally along with the Glamorgan Heritage Coast footpath. The Bridgend Designer Outlet, Cardiff and Swansea are within easy reach with plenty of shops, sporting events and theatres to keep you busy.
