Acerca de este alojamiento
Serifos Villa A
The Villa is located on a large and spacious property in a great location, situated on a hill to the south of the Rammos village, with fabulous views: to the Aegean and the islands as well as to the island's capital, the Hora, spectacularly situated at the top of a mountain.
The villa is open and airy with lots of windows giving plenty of natural light and providing wonderful views from all rooms. It is cool in the summer because of the prevailing northerly winds, delightfully furnished in simple and elegant Cycladic style.
Accommodation Details: 3 bedrooms (1 double bedroom + 1 twin bedroom on the 1st floor + 1 twin on the ground floor), 2 bathrooms (1 on the 1sr floor + 1 on the ground floor), sleeping up to 6. Large and spacious open plan living / dining / kitchen.
The double bedroom and the bedroom with two beds on the first floor are equipped with air-conditioning units. Bedrooms have ceiling fans.
In the summer of 2022 my villa was completed with the addition of a superb swimming pool. You will be able to use it during your stay in shared use with the guests from my neighboring villa. In case the neighboring villa has no accommodation then the pool would be all yours.
Very well equipped kitchen with electric oven , fridge, dishwasher and all facilities. This is a spacious property, open and airy with lots of windows giving plenty of natural light and providing wonderful views from all rooms. Delightfully furnished in simple and elegant Cycladic style, this is an extremely comfortable house with all facilities. Laundry room with washing machine. Ceiling fans. Fireplace. If needed (winter use) heating can be provided. Outside Facilities : Terraces. Outdoor furniture. Parking area. Pets allowed. Cook / maid available at an extra cost.
Attention: The Internet is limited 1 GB per month. Please keep in mind that Internet may lacks of connection due to weather conditions.
The Villa is located at an easy five minutes' drive from many lovely beaches, the harbor and Livadi village, where shopping is available. It takes no more than 15-20 minutes walk to a number of nearby beaches, the harbor and Livadi village.
5 minutes walk from closest tavern. The Island offers many good taverns at short distances from the Houses. Only 3 km away is the harbor of Livadi, set in a wide bay. Its seafront has many places to eat or have a drink. You will also find several bakeries, butchers, a handful of fruit shops, supermarkets, a pharmacy and various art shops. Local organic products available upon request / order.
Livadi has a particularly relaxed and easy-going atmosphere. You can have a quiet time, as well as entertainment, and if you are looking for some nightlife, you won't be disappointed either.
The island's capital, the Hora, spectacularly situated at the top of a mountain, is only 15-10 minutes' drive from Livadi. A stroll through the narrow streets of the Hora to the Church and the remains of a Middle Age Castle at the top is enough to make a visit to Serifos worthwhile.
Serifos Island offers you some the best beaches of the Aegean Archipelago, such as Psili Ammos (15' drive from the Houses), that was named by the Sunday Times, as the best beach of Europe for the year 2003, Kalo Ambeli, Ganema, Vagia and many more.
Its coastline gives you an excellent choice of sandy beaches. Most can be reached by car, some are at a short walk. There are two beaches only at a few minutes drive or 15-20 minutes walk. Serifos beaches are very well suited for swimming. The Southern part of Serifos Island is in itself an extended network of habitats for the flora and the rich fauna of the region, this being the result of the combination of geomorphologic and hydro-geological formations.
This very area of Serifos Island has been integrated in the Natura 2000 network of the European Union (code name GR(phone number hidden)). The mountainous landscape of Serifos offers endless possibilities for hiking. Taxi service available. Car and scooter rental is available, a number of providers. First class medical services available.
Directions: The SpeedRunner ferry from Piraeus port takes about 2 1/2 hours. Train connection ( 1 hour + ) from Athens International Airport to Piraeus port. It is very easy to reach Serifos; on request, we can help you organize your trip.
Activities include scuba diving, visiting the old mines, visiting sea caves, walking (mapped) paths. Cultural activities in the summer months, such as the Annual Serifos Festival; Orthodox religious festivities.
You can visit some small museums on the island, the Folklore Museum, the Archaeological Museum, and the Minerals Museum."
