Penpoll Cottage is a charming two-bedroom retreat with its own private hot tub, located just outside Tresooth's main courtyard. This semi-detached cottage sits alongside Porthallow, another two-bedroom property, and spans two floors.
This cottage has a fresh, inviting design that blends modern comfort with timeless charm. The open-plan living and kitchen area on the ground floor offers a welcoming space to unwind, with a fully equipped kitchen that includes everything you need for a comfortable stay. Upstairs, the master bedroom features a superking bed, an en-suite shower room, and a Velux ceiling window that fills the room with natural light. The second bedroom, with twin beds, also has its own en-suite shower room, ensuring privacy and convenience.
Penpoll is one of our pet-free cottages, ideal for guests seeking a tranquil, allergy-friendly stay.
Parking is shared with other cottages and is conveniently located at the front of the complex.

Tresooth Cottages was recently purchased by a group of friends, bringing together a combined 40 years of rental management and property development experience, plus expertise of being Airbnb Superhosts and VRBO Premier Partners in France, Spain and the USA. Our aim over the next two years is to upgrade the communal areas and each individual unit, employing modern design elements that remain sympathetic to the original Cornish buildings, while ensuring an excellent level of comfort and facility to our guests.

The group of five friends that recently purchased Tresooth are all British, but most of us have lived abroad for many years, developing our own individual property and rental businesses in France, Spain and the USA. Tresooth gave us the opportunity to pool all our knowledge and experience together back in our home country, as we focus our efforts towards this beautiful area of the UK. We are excited to bring our collective expertise to Tresooth, upgrading all the cottages and facilities over the next two years and offering guests a superior holiday experience.

Located just outside the quaint village of Mawnan Smith, Tresooth Cottages are a ten minute drive from the bustling port town of Falmouth. With some of the UK’s best beaches, water sports galore, a harbour and a thriving restaurant scene, the Falmouth area is one of the UK’s most sought after holiday destinations.
The Cottages themselves are situated four miles outside of Falmouth on the road towards the famous Helford River estuary, and close to the picturesque Trebah Gardens. Excellent cycle routes, dog walks and beautiful rambling paths are on the doorstep, offering guests both convenience and tranquility; the perfect spot to enjoy this area of quintessential Cornish countryside.
With the communal areas offering a large swimming pool, two hot tubs, a sauna, a games room, children’s play area and pet friendly accommodation, the facilities are a step above many of the other holiday cottages in the area.
There are 16 individual cottages at Tresooth, ranging in size from one bedroom units sleeping two, up to a four bedroom unit sleeping eight. The majority of bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. Seven of the cottages are situated around the pretty central stone courtyard, with the remaining eight cottages to the rear or side of the courtyard area. Each cottage has its own outdoor seating area, and some have private hot tubs.
