Esta acogedora pero espaciosa cabaña de montaña está ubicada convenientemente sobre el lago Gregory en Crestline, CA, a 90 minutos en coche del área de Los Ángeles. Escápese a esta casa recientemente actualizada con una cocina de concepto abierto equipada con electrodomésticos nuevos y encimeras de granito. La cocina se une a la gran sala de estar con chimenea de gas y un gran ventanal donde se puede disfrutar de las vistas del lago Gregory desde el frente y el valle de la montaña en la parte trasera. Cuenta con 4 habitaciones (1 arriba, 3 abajo), 2 baños (1 arriba, 1 abajo), gran sala de estar con desayunador, sala familiar, lavandería y una terraza alrededor de 3/4 de la casa.

Para su placer de asar a la parrilla, una barbacoa con propano se encuentra en la terraza justo al lado de la cocina y la sala familiar. Disfrute de su comida al aire libre en los muebles del patio y la terraza está cerrada para que sus amigos peludos de 4 patas disfruten de esta escapada a la montaña.

Disfruta de todas las vistas y sonidos que las montañas tienen para ofrecer: relájate y contempla la naturaleza desde la terraza; ir a pescar, caminar o nadar en el parque regional del lago Gregory; diríjase al lago Arrowhead o al lago Silverwood; lleve a los niños a Sky Park en Santa's Village para pasear y visite a Santa; o disfrutar de actividades de invierno cerca y en Big Bear.

Family getaway-Winter 2025

Big, spacious, and cozy cabin that accommodated all our needs! We stayed for 8 days and enjoyed the fireplace in the living room, the barbecue on the patio, and the well though-out amenities.

We had a great time. The house was excellent and the AC was welcome during an unseasonably warm summer. The view of the 4th of July fireworks over the lake was great! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Great Family Place

This was our second stay here as a family. Location is close to many restaurants & shopping. The pool is clean & you can pay a small fee to have it heated. Neighborhood is quiet. Kitchen is well furnished. We enjoyed our time here. Thank you!

Cozy place

Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Back deck was amazing, you are feeling like in forest. The only issue was bbq grill. Guests after us will enjoy very clean bbq grill. Overall we had great time.

FAMILY NEW YEARS 2022 VACATION

The property was bigger then expected with so much room for family all ages. There were several areas to relax and play games and watch sports all at the same time. Close to town, bowling, restaurants, a grocery store and Santa's Village which our granddaughter loved. We love to cook and did most of our meals at the house and it was totally stocked with everything we needed.

Mountain getaway

The place was perfect for our two families. We had everything we needed. The Lake pass was so helpful since we went two days in a row. Low impact hiking where the kids could explore and we rented canoes! The weather was perfect. Goodwin &Sons was a great store for anything and everything, including an ice cream bar. Although there wasn't much of a yard, the kids slid down the slope and had a blast.

Great Sister Weekend

My sisters and I were looking for a place to hang out with each other for a few days. We don't all get to see each other to often so we wanted a relaxing place for us all to be together and this was the perfect place. It is very roomy with places to sit and talk, play games and build a puzzle. The kitchen had everything we could need with so much deck space we were thrilled - trees in the back and a view of Lake Gregory in the front. Owners were very responsive and helped make it a wonderful weekend for us. I would highly recommend it!

Comfortable and spacious house

We returned for a second time. This house is very clean, well supplied and very spacious. It has four bedrooms to accommodate everyone in our group. We enjoyed the fireplace, cooking our meals, playing games and watching movies. There is a beautiful view from the deck, so many trees. We really enjoy our family time together here. We look forward to returning to this comfortable and spacious home. Bernie is easy to communicate with, and she responds to our messages in a timely manner.

The online pictures did not do it justice. 7 of us for a family reunion. Lots of living space and four bedrooms. My only complaint was there were not any large skillets for cooking. ( minor inconvenience). Great property for the price! Thank you. The Wilson Family

Relaxing Getaway

We enjoyed our stay with three generations of family. It was well appointed with everything we needed. A spacious cabin well suited for families. It was quite hot during our stay. Might have been nice to have it cooled before we arrived. There are ceiling fans in most rooms with AC in the common areas only. A portable fan would have helped in the Master bedroom, even with door open it was hot. Tray in BBQ to catch grease should be cleaned occasionally. We had a big flare-up not knowing there was anything there but kept it under control. Thank you for having us! We had a great time and would come back.

AMAZING!!!!

We were a group of 7. Grandparents, parents and 3 children (8 years old and twin 5 year olds). We had a wonderful time. We had plenty of room both for sleeping and during the day for the children to pay in the house without being on top of each other. The location was great. We were there to take the children to Santa's Village. It was a short 20 minutes away and we were at our destination. The house was well maintained and very clean. The owl theme and the family story about the house made us feel like family. We would recommend this home for anyone looking for a lovely place to stay in the San Bernardino mountains. Thanks for a wonderful holiday experience!!!!!

Breath Taking View

This cabin is very very spacious and clean, plenty of TVs to watch movies, sports or cartoons for the children. The kitchen is very well equipped, the owners have thought of everything, to help you prepare your meals. Waking up each morning and opening the drapes in the living room, to see such a beautiful breath taking view. Wow! you can never get tired of looking at. Bernie responded quickly to our messages. We had a problem with the outlets in the kitchen. We tried resetting the outlets several time, but we couldn't reset them. We messaged Bernie and she sent her handyman over, and he fixed it right away. It's a lovely cabin. We enjoyed cooking, playing games, watching movies and just relaxing. Our family enjoyed our time here. We would definitely love to come back here. My husband said as we were leaving, this is definitely a 5 star cabin. Our granddaughter said she loved making memories here. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with others.

It’s was the perfect cozy yet very spacious cabin and made a perfect Christmas retreat for our famil

The cabin is a great open concept yet very cozy. It had everything - games, tvs in all bedrooms and a gorgeous fireplace perfect for cuddling up on the big sectional couch in main living room. The boys enjoyed the smaller living room with its TV for the football game. We enjoyed hours of games and crafts by the big picture window looking out to lake. The kitchen is nice open and made it to easy to make cookies with the kids. We appreciated the cabinet filled with games and a big basket filled with extra soft throw blankets. The beds were fine and the new soft flannel linens were wonderful and kept us warm. It’s a very clean and very well maintained home and so many a thoughtful touches that made us feel at home and able to create wonderful memories … we hope we can come back. We rent every year at Christmas and this was one of the very best homes!!

Great getaway for the holidays

The place was just as nice as described. We spent a lovely Thanksgiving getaway. We loved that it was decorated for Thanksgiving too. It was a nice touch. Bedrooms we all comfortable.. We would definitely stay there again.

Overall great stay

Check in process was straightforward. The kitchen is fully stocked with the exception of paper towels. However, we could not find dishwasher soap. The wrap around patio is gorgeous with a large grill. I enjoyed bird watching on the patio. The beds were so-so. They weren't lumpy, but we did have some low back discomfort after our trip. Plenty of space to sleep 8. The living room space was large and the fireplace was very cozy. The TVs are a bit dated, but functional. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this cabin to a friend and I would personally stay here again. Thank you!

Comfortable and cozy

We found the rental to be very comfortable and well stocked. It was easy to find everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and everyone enjoyed having their own TV. The multiple sitting areas allowed our family the freedom to play games, work puzzles or share in discussions. There was lots of sitting areas outside as well. The kitchen appliances were newer and in good working order. 0verall, we thought it was the perfect choice for us and we would love to rent it again in the future.

This is our church's second year using this cabin for our retreats. Both years we were very pleased. This year we had 3 pastors staying here. Received rave reviews from them when they returned about the cabin. We would recommend this cabin for your stay. Thanks for the usage!!

Our original-family-owned cabin is managed by Teresa and Carolyn, both granddaughters of the original owners. Teresa is a full time middle school teacher near the coast, and Carolyn is a software design engineer. Our vacation home was built and purchased in the 1950's and has remained in our family ever since. We are all native Angelenos, and have enjoyed countless family vacations here playing games, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with each other away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. We have spent hours hiking through the forests, riding motorcycles, fishing, swimming at Lake Gregory or waterskiing at Silverwood Lake. Winter-times would be spent building snow forts, hiking, skiing, and when we were little, visiting Santa at Santa's Village. This place has always been a favorite escape of ours and we hope you enjoy it as much as we have!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

To escape the city and provide their growing family with a place to vacation, our grandparents, who lived in Los Angeles, purchased this property back in the 1950's. To this day, many family members still enjoy vacationing here to escape the city. It is the perfect place to get away and relax with friends, enjoy a hike around the lake, go shopping in town or nearby Lake Arrowhead, or gaze at the millions of stars at night. If you take a walk around the lake you might even recognize the main lodge that was used for Camp Walden in "The Parent Trap" with Lindsey Lohan. Teresa, who made the cabin her home for several years, as hers was being built nearby, states "As I take the winding road up the mountain I'd unwind with every turn, then I reach the peak and descend into the valley where Lake Gregory sits and it is like the weight of the world is lifted. This is a real home away from home, an escape from the fast pace of the city."

This is a great place to share with family and friends and feel in a different world that is only a short trip from the big city.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The open floor plan upstairs is the best for families, with all but one of the bedrooms downstairs. Upstairs we can hang out together, cook, and move from one area to the next without feeling cut off. We love relaxing in the living room and enjoying the westward view out the huge picture window or the eastward view of the beautiful oak treetops from the kitchen and family room.
