City and Sea

Excellent pre-stay communication previewed a warm and attentive arrival. James was always available if called upon. He and wife Romi are charming and very busy working mostly from home, upstairs. A steep hill of a block and a half leads to a street to town, just four blocks away. From the attractions of the charming town to the ocean view from the private patio, a brilliant rental. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay at the Manhattan Beach house.Very clean. Owners were wonderful and helpful assisting with parking. The location is perfect for shopping and just a few steps to the beach.

Paradise at the Beach

As advertised. Fantastic location. Host was always quick to respond and very helpful. Bed was excellent with quality linen. Numerous restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely return.

Sweet spot by the ocean

Very sweet spot, 4 houses from the beach. Comfortable unit with ocean view patio. I had a lovely stay. Unfortunately, I had a family emergency and had to leave after 2 weeks. So I forfeited $2000. James the owner is a very welcoming host and ready to answer any questions. Only draw back for me was , there is no parking on site. Parking is on the street, which it times can be several blocks away.

Another perfect stay

This was my 3ed time staying at this property. I would never stay anywhere else. The location is amazing, step outside the door and see and hear the ocean just can’t be beat. The neighborhood is quite and safe, everything you will need is within walking distance and the price can’t be beat. It is the most relaxing place and fully equipped. Beautiful sunsets are just outside your door. The bed is super comfortable you will want to take it home. The owners are the best people you will ever meet. So kind and helpful if you need it, but not around if you don’t. Great to have a conversation or laugh with. Just so nice owners. Hopefully will get a chance to come back for the forth time. I love it there and I’m sure you will too. Beauty all around. Thank you so much James and Romi for sharing your perfect home.

Nothing else like it!

I am still dreaming about my stay at this place. You truly can't get much better than this. Location and proximity to the ocean/beach is unbeatable and you can walk everywhere! There is no parking at the place itself, but there is plenty of street parking within a half block. James was also a fantastic host. Super friendly, responded quickly, and gave me a ton of recs for places to check out. Already planning on my next trip back to this place.

Relaxing Perfect Getaway

This is my second stay at this property. I would never even try to find another location. I feel totally safe and so happy here. I have had two 4 month stays and I am already looking forward to coming back. You can just take a step outside and hear and see the ocean. The location can’t be beat and it is a great value. Easy to walk everywhere and a quiet neighborhood. The owners are awesome and just nice people. I am so happy they share their home. Could not be any better. Love it!!

had an amazing stay in Manhattan Beach, California! James and Romi could not have created a better property for us to stay. Their attention to every detail went above and beyond!! We will be back!

Location Location Perfect Location

This is the perfect place to stay in Manhattan Beach. It has an awesome spot outside to view the ocean and listen to the waves crashing. Only foot traffic walking by no vehicle traffic so very quiet and relaxing. Very safe friendly neighborhood. I stayed 4 months and felt totally safe all day and night. You can walk to everything you will need. Grocery stores and many many restaurants close by. Very comfortable bed. Everything you will need in the kitchen. Large new tv. Just a perfect place to stay. Best of all the owners are nice people. You don’t see them a lot but so nice if you do. Will always be there if you need anything. Do not hesitate to stay here, I will be coming back for sure. Thanks James and Romi for letting me visit. Totally enjoyable place. Janene

Great Stay!

This place is perfect for someone looking to enjoy everything that the south bay has to offer. Great location just steps to the beach as well as a short walk to downtown Manhattan Beach with all of its great restaurants and shops. James is a great owner and was super responsive to any and all questions. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Exactly what the doctor ordered!

James went above and beyond to make sure our family had our best vacation of all time. The cottage has 1 BR with an extremely comfortable bed, 1 roomy BA, a living area with flat screen TV and a nice kitchen/dining area. There is also a storage nook that came in handy for us. Above all, the cottage was immaculate.... which made us instantly feel right at home. But that's just the beginning. As you can see in these photos, the cottage is only 3 houses off The Strand and only 3 blocks from the MB Pier and all the shopping/restaurants that go along with such an ideal location. We absolutely will be back next summer - thank you so much for the memories!

Highly recommend this beautiful place!

Everything about my experience at this lovely house was exceptional. The bed was amazing, the couch was super cozy, the view was awesome and the location was spectacular! Incredibly close to the ocean and just a few blocks from the heart of town, which made it so convenient for us since we didn't rent a car. I will definitely rent this place again. The owners went above and beyond the call of duty in making sure we were taken care of...and they were such lovely people. It was a perfect weekend!

I would do it again in a HEARTBEAT!

I stayed at this lovely studio for one month this summer and it was a terrific getaway - exactly what the web listing says it is and more! Easy, convenient and clean! It is beautifully decorated, has everything you need and the bed is to die for - it is so comfortable! It is a mere few steps to the sand and is very quiet most of the time. It was easy to spend time on the beach, ride a bike on the boardwalk or walk to dinner nearby. The Hermosa pier and beach volleyball are about 2 miles away and a beautiful walk. Starbucks and many local restaurants are very, very close. The best gem in the neighborhood is the newly opened MB Post just up the street. Don't miss it! The owners are lovely and accommodating. The next time I am in CA and this is available, I hope to stay again. Thank you JB and Romi!
