The cozy and peaceful gated-condominium of Quinta da Barracuda in Albufeira is only 200 meters from the nearest beach (Praia dos Alemães) and a 10 minutes walk from the Main Strip of Albufeira where daytime, evening, and late night entertainment abound.

The quaint Old Town of Albufeira sits just 1.5 kilometers away in the other direction. The beach Praia dos Alemães connects directly to the famous old town Fisherman's Beach (Praia dos Pescadores), which means a sandy 20-minute walk can take you directly to the old center of Albufeira.

As well as a large swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas, the condominium has a special beach-access gate along with free front courtyard and underground garage parking.

The apartment is fully equipped with a modern kitchen which includes oven, stove, microwave, fridge, pots and pans, wine glasses, coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, iron and board, etc. The bedroom has a large wardrobe for neatly storing all clothing items. A flat-screen TV in the living room is set up with IPTV, giving access to channels and broadcasts from all over the world, and stylish and comfortable indoor and outdoor dining furniture make for a relaxing experience when supping in situ.

One bath, hand and beach towel is provided per guest. All beds are dressed with linen appropriate to the season. Extra towels and linen, as well as mid-stay cleans, are available at an additional cost.

Low-cost airport transfers and cot and high-chair rental can be offered on request.

We were greeted at the property by a very friendly and personable representative, who explained all aspects of the property. The condo was beautiful, the kitchen and all the proper dishes, glasses and cutlery, etc. the bed were very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and I would recommend this property to to anyone. Unfortunately I did catch a bad cold and was not able to access the beach and take advantage of all the area had to offer.

Great apartment in good location

The apartment was in a good location, just minutes away from the beach & easy reach to bars & restaurants. The apartment itself was fully equipped with everything you need while away, clean, modern & very spacious for 2 people.

Perfect apartment for a long stay!

Quinta da Barracuda is centrally located between Old Town and New Town and very close to the beach. A 20 minute walk along the beach to Old Town and a 10 minute walk to New Town. The apartment was spotless. The building was safe and secure and quiet. IPTV was great. The washroom was very nice especially the shower. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you need. This apartment has morning sun. We highly recommend this VRBO and look forward to returning one day.

Flat is just great for a couple, not a bad view,despite the lack of a seaview.Well equiped and comfortable.Good selection of channels etc on the TV Good locatioh,beach,shops and restaurants all within reasonable walking distance. Manager and taxi driver,fantastic Well organised

Pleasant vacation

The owner answered questions quickly. The check in was easy. The difficulty lay in our trying to find the building. But the manageress was ever so patient in guiding us to the place. Both my husband and I are short people so we found the couch too large for us and so we had trouble sitting o it.

Wonderful visit!

We spent 10 days at this location and it had everything we needed. Pre-visit communications with Thomas were fantastic as were our check-in and onside support. The only downside was the location, even that being 4/5. Its a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever visited. However, the walk to Old Town and local restaurants was a bit far. If, like us you're not renting a car, then be prepared for some decent, and hilly, walks. Otherwise we loved our stay!

One week in busy Albufeira

The property was very nice and private. We liked the large balcony, which faces east, and the large pool and pool area. The apartment amenities all worked well and the parking was plentiful. The shopping was relatively close and restaurants were within walking distance. The photo made the space look bigger however but it was big enough for two of us. Thomas was excellent with communication and a Kevin was very nice and helpful when he had to reset the tv.

Highly recommended

WOW!!! What an apartment. It had everything you need for a get away plus a bit more. We stayed in 3 apartments during our break and found this one to be the best equipped, even a few games to play on rainy days 😉 It was clean and tidy when we got there and we would have no problem recommending it. Our check in was flawless and they allowed us to have a late checkout. Kevin was always there when we needed him and was very helpful during our stay.

The place is great, clean and the location is a short walk uphill to the strip. The check in was easy and informative, and the check out , you just leave the keys on the table. I had a small problem with the shower not draining, and my husband removed a BIG chunk of hair and the shower was draining fine again. When I told about that I was told I should have caled maintenance, well naked in a shower, chances are I will call my husband first. Hope the check that in the other units. Otherwise, the place is just WOW, big and clean with a pool and the beach really nearby

Parfait pour nous. Belle piscine et plage à proximité si cela vous intéresse. Rue piétonne avec beaucoup de restaurants. À noter que certains soirs ce peut être bruyant mais on n entend rien lorsque l on ferme les porte. Nous avons apprécié l orientation dans soleil en fin d après-midi sur le balcon, se serait trop chaud.
