Lovely cottage

Kindly Light is a lovely spacious cottage close to the town centre and harbour. Clare was a very friendly host who met us at the cottage and gave us some local info. We ate at the boathouse and Fish shack, both lovely meals especially the specials board. We would definitely recommend it.

Ideally situated. Beautiful spacious cottage with a high standard of accommodation and luxury extras. Couldn't think of anything that wasn't included. Even a dog bed and treats.

Hassle free from start to finish, exactly what you need for a perfect short break!

Clare was warm and welcoming, kept us right with parking and gave us info about local events taking place during our stay. Kindly Light Cottage is bright, very clean and well laid out. Loved the local touches along with the pint of milk and welcome hamper! Amble is a lovely place with lots to see and do, or if you prefer relax in one of the many cafes or sit by the sea or beach. It was our first visit to Amble and Kindly Light Cottage, but it won't be our last. Thank you for having us!

Would love to return

The cottage had everything we needed for a cosy & comfortable Autumn stay. Spacious living room & bedrooms. Comfy beds, quality bedding, cosy carpets, lovely log burner, sumptuous towels, good toiletries & a big waterfall shower (in bath tub). The location of the cottage was superb, quiet yet just a couple of minutes walk to the shops & great restaurants in Amble, perfect! Thanks too for the excellent communication & generous mini-hamper. We would gladly return & recommend :)
