For those looking for an adventure, Paradise has easy access to the Forest Adventure Outdoor Centre, Puzzlewood, Clearwell Caves and the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum. Alternatively, visit the English Heritage’s Goodrich Castle, National Trust Round House and Naval Temple, and Norchard Railway Station Museum on the Dean Forest Railway. Monmouth, with its castle, wide high street and a good range of shops, and Chepstow Castle and racecourse, are well worth a visit.
