Located a short distance from Chester City Centre ( 5 minutes by car ) and on the most accessible and convenient side of Chester with easy access to numerous local attractions Chester Races, UK's best and world renowned Zoo, Cheshire Oaks (UK's biggest outlet village) and Blue Planet Aquarium - in under 15 minutes.

Great stay

We were two couples and found this cottage to work out terrific for our stay. We have time in Chester, Wrexham and Liverpool which made for easy day trips. The host Gary did an excellent job in meeting us at the place and provided a great overview of how everything worked.

Nice house outside of Chester

The property was well equipped and quaint. The owner was very helpful in getting us checked in and settled. I would definitely stay there again.

Great stay for the weekend with the family. House was perfect with everything you needed. Gary was great with all information on arrival lovely touch to have it all face to face & his recommendation was great. he recommended a place for food & our meals there for the whole family didn’t disappoint. Great place to stay for Chester zoo with only a 15 minute drive which was great after a full day spent there. Xx

Great weekend in chester

Fantastic house to stay in, when visiting Chester and surrounding areas. We were here for a family wedding and Gary (the owner), couldn’t have gone out of his way anymore than he did, in making sure we enjoyed our stay to the max. A beautifully maintained house and would definitely recommend to anyone and will book there again.

Perfect striking distance from Chester

Extremely inviting and very comfortable. Has everything you will need and more…definitely a home from home. Gary was the best, couldn’t ask for better. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Chester and the surrounding area

Beautiful accommodation

We had a wonderful stay in this delightful cottage. It has been beautifully decorated and furnished so that it feels warm and cosy - like a real home rather than rental accommodation. The only downside is the lane leading to the property which is badly potholed but I believe there are plans to fix this in the near future. When you get here it is totally worth it!

Perfect Stay!!

This was a last minute booking due to being let down and we couldn't have been happier. The property was perfect in every way and close to all attractions.There is everything that anyone would need and the attention to detail was amazing. Gary was great with welcoming us to the property and showing us how everything worked and nothing was too much trouble. Overall this was a great find and will 100% be returning when back in the Chester area.

Family stay in Sealand

This was a really lovely place to stay. The website photos did not really do justice to the cottage. It was very comfortable, relaxing and spacious with a very pretty garden (and BBQ). The property is in the countryside, close to the River Dee, but only a short drive to Chester (with local supermarkets a couple of minutes away). The host was friendly, generous and helpful. I would recommend this place and happily stay there again.

Very comfortable house

Great and quiet location to visit Chester, Chester Zoo and Liverpool (we drove to Hooton and got the direct train for Liverpool, very easy). Beds were ready comfy and great kitchen. Was lovely to come back to the house after a day out and sit in the sunny garden too. Great communication by Gary who was very helpful. Thank you Gary!

Great place to stay

Although the property is rural its a perfect base to get to lots of places. If you drive then everything you need is virtually on the doorstep! The property is very close to grocery and retail shops with Chester and Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet a short drive away. Gary is the perfect host and we loved the personal "meet & greet". The house is very well equipped with everything you need for a break away from it all. It has a private garden and a parking space directly outside the property. Gary was also helpful with local knowledge about places to visit. Will definitely book again when visiting this area. Thank you for a stress free break Gary.

Beautifully designed property, with the latest mod-con appliances and facilities, but with a traditional cottage feel. Less than a 10 min drive to Chester centre. Our host Gary was lovely. Met me on site to go over everything and give us lots restaurant and bar suggestions.
