Un dormitorio tiene una salida a un patio. Completamente remodelado baño y cocina. Estufa de leña en la sala de estar. Dish Network e Internet! Disfrute de una noche creekside por el fuego en el foso. ¡Los senderos del ATV abundan! Famoso St Mary's Glacier caminata a sólo un corto paseo por la carretera. ¡Dos insignias de la pesca proporcionaron a pescar en dos lagos privados y almacenados!

This is the third Christmas we’ve stayed here and always love it! Beautiful area, decorated Christmas tree, games and activities. This year there was a Christmas ornament painting box for us, which the kids loved. We also got to have snowball fights by the creek!

We had an amazing time! The cabin is beautiful, very clean, and instructions fir access were clear. It started snowing just as we arrived and we had an amazing time relaxing by the fire and having a cozy time with lots of games and books

We stayed at the cabin for a weekend and everything was perfect. My 4 year old loved exploring the creek behind the cabin, the kitchen was well stocked, and we really enjoyed the fireplace. This was a really great place to stay and we hope to be back soon!

Overall I give it 4/5 stars as it was above average in regards to the location/price/amenities. The backyard creek was really nice but not as private as it seems (neighbor to the right close proximity). Sadly there was no shampoo provided nor ice in the ice maker in refrigerator as stated in the Essentials. We made it work but if we would've known we would've been more prepared. A 20 min drive to Idaho Springs solved those issues.

this is probably our 5th time to stay here at this house - we absolutely love it! It brings a sense of calm and peace when we are there....We love sitting down by the stream, it's absolutely beautiful!

A little disappointed

Cabin it self is super nice. Really clean and comfy. But that’s it. Pics on Vrbo website need to be updated.When pulling up to the cabin, I was very disappointed to see another home so close to the cabin. If it was disclosed or at least show a pic of the house so close to the cabin, I never would’ve rented it. Come to find out, it is the owner’s house. The pics on the vrbo website show a huge deck with a propane grill and by the creek, a little fire ring. Exactly what I was looking for. Well, there is a huge deck that is nice, but the steps on the deck are dangerously slanted and hard to use. There isn’t a propane grill, but a tiny patio bistro electric grill that was filthy dirty. It was gross. I was super disappointed as I wanted to actually grill. There isn’t any kind of fire ring/pit at all. Just a spot that is black where a fire was and cigarette butts. Even if there was a fire ring, I wouldn’t be able to have a fire as it was so dark back there, you couldn’t see. Absolutely no light. I tried the back porch light, but it didn’t come on. I know these sound minor, but I rented this place for those specific reasons-to be able to grill and have a fire by the creek and this place did not deliver.

The perfect get away for my wife and I. Beautiful location and the peace and quiet we were looking for. The property was clean and decorated nicely for a mountain " cabin ". The deck overlooking the stream was wonderful. Location is good, easy to find, and a short walk away from the St. Mary's trailhead. The hosts were easy to work with, quick to respond to any questions we had. We will be booking again in the future.

Amazing property

This place was awesome to stay in. It was nicely remodeled and decorated comfortably. There is a beautiful stream in the back of the property. I will definitely stay again/recommend this property. The place was hidden a little so definitely recommend getting to the property when it’s still light outside.

Great Host

I never leave reviews, but felt like I should for this stay. The house was great and exactly as described, but the host was better. After our rental car had issues our last night, Tom came and picked us up in town and brought us back to the house. He was a huge help for our entire family.

Second Time - Still Awesome

We stayed at this cabin back in 2021 over Christmas and were able to come back for Christmas 2024. We had a great time just like the last time. There were so many games and puzzles, as well as a large area inside and outside to explore. Great hosts. Also had a Christmas tree, which made it even better. We had 3 adults, 2 kids, & 2 dogs stay & it was wonderful.

December Weekend Stay

My husband and our two dogs stayed for the weekend and felt right at home. The kitchen had all of what we needed for cooking. We were able to watch our favorite Christmas movies on the dish network and puzzles and boardgames were provided.

Mountain Getaway

Amazing stay at the cabin! We were hoping for a quiet getaway and got just that. A big snowstorm came through the day before arrival, but the driveway was well plowed and we had no trouble with access from I-70 to the cabin. Check in instructions were clear and the shortest check out instructions I’ve ever seen. The cabin was well stocked in the bathroom and kitchen allowing for a cozy stay without having to venture out for supplies. The big TV was easy to use. The best part was the cozy wood fireplace with wood and fire starters provided. We enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal, sled down the driveway hill, visited shops in nearby Georgetown, and saw some elk around town! Disappointed to not hike St Mary’s Glacier because the wind was too cold, so we’ll definitely return in the summer to do that!

We originally purchased this property because mom the awesome location. We went through a complete remodel on it. Including bath, kitchen, floors, windows, fireplace, and interior/exterior stain.

Location!! Being on a flat lot, it has lots of usable space to park and hang out. Sit out on the front patio in the morning and enjoy the sun and humming birds while you drink your coffee. Grill out on the huge deck out back over looking the flowing creek. Enjoy a fire at night in the fire pit by the creek! Only 1/4 mile hike to get to the trail head for the glacier hike.
Only 12 miles to Idaho Springs. Enjoy restaurants and shops on Main St, rafting, and zip lines!
