We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The space itself was very nice—comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully set up. The host went above and beyond with generous special touches that truly made us feel welcome.Communication with the host was easy and responsive from start to finish, which made everything seamless. We especially enjoyed the firepit—it was such a fun and cozy way to relax in the evenings.Overall, the environment was peaceful and relaxing, exactly what we were hoping for. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Our stay was wonderful. The Quarters was exactly as promised - and then some. Jackie is a great host. We walked all over Jacksonville from our location. Enjoyed our daily visits from the local deer. We spent an afternoon on the Wine Trolley and visited 5 wineries. Many shops to explore. Many wonderful food options.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! Jackie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—the thoughtful touches made all the difference. From the little gift basket of snacks waiting for us to the fully stocked bathroom with everything you could need (Q-tips, makeup remover, and more), every detail was so well thought out. The outdoor space was wonderful and gave us the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we’d happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Jackie’s cottage. Cottage totally set up with anything you would need. Wonderful amenities. Nicely decorated, very comfy, outside area exceptional. Easy walk to town and the Britt. Convenient liquor store across the street, espresso two doors down. Lots of deer.

The property was amazing. The nicest VRBO I have ever stayed in. I appreciated the extra fluffy towels and all of the extra amenities that were included. The house was a short and easy walk into town. Would love to stay again.

Christmas in Jacksonville

Upon entering the home, we were greeted with Christmas music, heated rooms, and snack treats. Jackie was always quick to respond to our few questions and had provided lots of information about the area. We spent our days exploring Jacksonville and Ashland, and the location of the house made this so convenient. We were able to take an evening walk to enjoy the Christmas lights in town and the neighborhood. Such a wonderful stay! We will certainly stay here again.

Jacksonville Cottage

Can’t say enough great things about this adorable cottage, perfect size for my husband and I, with open living/kitchen space, well stocked kitchen, cookware, utensils, appliances, pots and pans, etc. It is warm, cozy, comfortable, newly updated, impeccably clean, with a welcoming feel and Jackie’s special touches of snacks, bedside candy, and sweet welcome note…there is nothing she hasn’t thought of. Especially loved the outdoor comfortable seating around the gas firepit and our beautiful backyard deer family “neighbors”. Thank you again Jackie for your quick responses and local eating places and attractions. Crater Lake and Natural Bridge are MUST SEES! Highly recommend this cottage.

Book this Beauty

A perfectly spotless spot in lovely Jacksonville, OR. Jackie has thought of every little thing guests might need. Wonderful bathroom, exquisite beds, a cook's kitchen. Fabulous outdoor seating with firepit, brand new washer & dryer, and SmartTV's WITH Cable (for this dumb older adult :-) We spent 3 glorious nights here while exploring the area and Crater Lake National Park. Skip the hotels in Medford; you'll feel right at home here where, yes, the deer visit every day!

Amazing spot! Close to so much

It's our second time here and it did not disappoint. Jackie is an exceptional host, the house is terrific and is enjoyable both inside and outside. We cooked in the kitchen several times, enjoyed the outdoor seating, watching the deer and hanging out indoors. Close 10 minute walk to the main street in Jacksonville with shopping, wine and food, and anywhere from 5-30 minutes away from a variety of wineries and Ashland. Loved it and will be back.

Absolutely perfect 💯

Beautiful cottage. Every aspect is well thought out. Beds are super comfy, soft sheets, robes, slippers. Perfectly clean and well maintained. Nice backyard with frequent visits by the local wildlife who, if you are chill, will hang out with you. All communication before, during and after was perfect. Location is very nice and close. If I could give 10 stars I would. Giant thumbs up!

This was an amazing and comfortable home in the middle of it all in CdA. Unit was clean, well stocked and comfortable. Hosts were great to work with and very responsive (we asked for a later check out, which they quickly approved). We will return for sure.

We loved our stay at this property. Walking distance to everything, great amenities, the owners are incredibly thoughtful, and deer come through the yard on a regular basis.

This place was absolute perfection!

My friend and I stayed here with two kids and one teen and had such an amazing stay. The house is absolutely beautiful and very well stocked, the location is perfect, and we were greeted by a mama deer and her sweet little spotted fawn... there were many, many deer visitors daily, which was definitely a highlight. There is a spacious laundry room / entry with room for an airbed and small table, which was a perfect cozy nook for my teenager and there were plenty of games and other activities for the younger kids in our group. The outdoor spaces are very cozy and inviting, as well!

Fantastic Stay in Jacksonville

My wife and I stayed at Jackie's place for 4 nights as we attended a weekend wedding. Jackie's place was perfect for our needs. The location encourages a 10 minute stroll to the core downtown and its restaurants/shop/Britt Garden grounds. Jackie's place is spacious, very clean, and nicely decorated. Filled with thoughtful amenities. The dawn and dusk visits by the ever-present deer population (including a family with 2 fawns) made our morning coffee and evening cocktail times extra special. I would easily return to Jackie's place for a Britt Festival performance.

Six Stars!

We enjoyed this cottage so much that this was our second time here, and I hope to reserve it again the next time we visit Jacksonville. Jackie has thought of everything a person might need for a relaxing stay. The cottage is immaculate and feels luxurious. The bed is comfy, the towels thick and soft, and the kitchen well appointed. I loved being walking distance to town and the Britt Festival, and only a 10 minutes drive from many miles of hiking trails and bird watching, which were big draws for us. Jackie is a considerate and kind host.

Beautifully Appointed

Lovely cottage ideal for four adults. Extra nice amenities including plush towels, soft linens, snack basket, Keurig cups for am coffee, cosmetic essentials, etc. Even luxury bathrobes and slippers for each guest! Mule deer roam in the yard. Outside gas fire pit was a great place to gather in the evening. Location was top notch with convenience store across the street and restaurants within walking distance. A great place for a getaway!

Quality Cottage close to downtown

This freshly renovated cottage was a good pick for our party of 3. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a lovely note from the host, a bevy of great snacks and water options in the fridge. The whole place was very stylish with high quality design choices in every room. The linens and towels were absolutely wonderful and there were thoughtful amenities supplied like thick robes and slippers, additional toiletries and nice laundry facilities. The living room was very hip, which we enjoyed, but we might have traded the cool leather sofa for a big comfy sectional. Both bedrooms were nicely appointed, one with a Queen bed and one with a King. The single bathroom had a big shower, an add-on bidet, nice finishes and modern style but could have used another shelf around the sink. Outside had several different seating areas including a gas firepit that was perfect on a cool Spring evening. We enjoyed a cocktail hour there, hanging out with the local deer. It seems like more landscaping work is still to come and I expect this property to only become more charming in the future. I highly recommend this lodging and look forward to staying again the next time we are in town.
