In the Funchal Old Town, near beach - Casa Caetano

Casa Caetano is a property with two floors, recently renovated, located in the historic centre (Old Town) of Funchal, a few minutes walk from São Tiago Beach.
This house accommodates 4 people, having on the first floor a common bathroom with shower, a bedroom with double bed, a work space and balcony, and a sofa bed, in the living room. There are two living areas with cable TV. The kitchen, located on the second floor, is fully equipped and provides a dining area, interconnecting with a small living area that gives access to a large and pleasant terrace. This outdoor space has sea view and cable car view, ideal to enjoy a meal outdoors.

Wi-Fi is available in all areas.

AREA
The property is located in the oldest part of Funchal, a 5-minute walk from the Lavradores Market and 10-15 minutes from the marina. For beach lovers, there are different options in the Funchal area, the closest to the house is São Tiago beach. It is close to other points of interest such as: the Funchal-Monte cable car, museums, esplanades, gardens, supermarkets, pharmacies, hairdressers, CTT, shops, bakeries, restaurants, night bars.
In the city centre there is plenty of information about all kinds of activities you can do during your holidays: cultural activities, radical activities, nature related activities... whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island!

GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.

ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.

INTERACTION
We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.

ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.
