Stunning Views of Polperro Harbour from this Waterfront Cottage. Free Parking.

Fabulous harbour views await you at Polperro Beach House. Situated in the inner harbour of this picturesque Cornish fishing village it is only a short walk from shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants.

The property was completely renovated in 2021 but still retains original wood flooring, sash windows and an idyllic bay window to take in harbour life.

There are 2 bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and the other with a small double (4ft) bed. It benefits from modern heating and excellent Wi-Fi throughout.

Parking is also included for one vehicle for the duration of your stay.

Truly a magical place to stay and spend more than a few days (a week is ideal) as the atmosphere and area are worth immersing yourself in. I didn't think this location would be convenient, but with the bus stop at Crumplehorn Inn and Mill a 10min stroll away, and Waitrose grocery delivery readily available with timeslots throughout the day, we never felt stressed. All the vibes of a country fishing village (you have to do the hike to Looe!), with all the conveniences of modern life.The place itself is gorgeously placed, as you can tell by the photos. The fixtures reflect a recentish refurbishment, and the kitchen has everything that anyone would need to turn those Waitrose groceries into a celebratory meal. (As an American, I got overzealous with our 1st grocery order, and obviously, didn't need to place a 2nd one, but the kitchen made it so easy, we had to - wish there was a Waitrose in the States).The real gem is the host - he is so helpful, understanding an accommodating, I can't imagine myself being so courteous. Chat msgs were fielded almost instantly, and he even played the role of concierge/travel agent, and setup for us 2 fishing trips out to sea on the William John. On checkout, we misplaced the house keys, and instead of flipping out or charging us a replacement fee, he said "don't worry about it." We found it later in the day, and mailed it back, and that was that. One of the most memorable vrbo stays that we've had as a family.

Beautiful location. Modern interior with usb plug sockets and everything needed to hand. Jonathan is a great communicator and is a local so can respond quickly if needed.

Very cute two story cottage facing directly onto the tidal inlet of Polperro. Comfy bed, cozy sitting room and a good kitchen with a new espresso machine. Tight fit in the bathroom but it’s a very old house and they’ve done their best to fit in sink toilet and shower. Massive tv in the sitting rooms and smaller one in the bedrooms. The view was enchanting and we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely waterfront property

Ideally located within polperro it is very close to all the local shops and pubs but just along a side street so that it isn't too busy.Great communication from the host throughout.

Time Out

Enjoyed our stay in this well set up cottage. Travelled with 99 year old mother, so great place to sit and watch the world go by and the tide come in. The solid bannister, movement sensitive lights on the landing were perfect as was the abundance of hot water. The kitchen is compact and has everything you could need to cook up a storm and the radiator in the lounge was perfect to keep it cosy for morning & night. Jonathon was on the ball, helpful and timely in his communication. Would love toco e back.

Loved our stay in Polperro

We had a lovely time in Polperro and the house is exactly as pictured - gorgeous harbour views! Immaculately clean, comfy beds, great shower and all you could need in the kitchen. Very easy to check in and Jonathan is excellent to communicate with.

Location is perfect. Right on the water and just a couple of minutes to the pub! Good sized bedrooms and a decent shower too. Could have used some instructions on how the coffee machine works as I never figured that out! First world problems! Otherwise an absolutely fab stay.

Lovely spot for a Polperro getaway

We loved Polperro and Jonathan's place is ideally located to enjoy it. It has a perfect view of the harbor, and you can enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks in the window seat to take in the view. It was really pleasant whether the tide was in our out. The seagulls are noisy in the morning for a bit but you get used to them. The bedrooms are very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped (we really appreciated all of the fixings for coffee!), and the bathroom is spacious and has plenty of hot water. Everything is as pictured and described. The back bedroom looks over the alley where people walk by below so there can be some noise from passers-by, but it's generally pretty quiet. The house is a 5-minute walk from where a taxi can pick you up for day trips in front of the Sweet Time shop. Jonathan is extremely responsive. Definitely recommend.

Lovely house in a great location.

Just returned from a week’s holiday with my husband. It’s the perfect location over looking the harbour & so close to restaurants & pubs. The house has the best of both worlds, with a sympathetic renovation, with all mod cons & spotlessly clean & Jonathan is the perfect host. The only thing I would say is there are a lot of dogs with visiting holiday makers & some aren’t so responsible with picking up after them, but that didn’t spoil my stay at the house & we will be returning. Just mind where you step in these pretty little streets.

Beautiful property in a sunny location

We had a wonderful time at Johnathon’s place, the house has been so beautifully renovated and the attention to detail shows. There was everything we needed, the rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. We particularly loved the view from the living room window seat! What a treat to stay somewhere so beautiful, thank you for having us and we hope we can visit again in the future.

Perfekt!

Das Haus ist direkt im Hafen perfekt gelegen, um alles mit wenigen Schritten in Polperro zu erreichen. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist sehr gelungen, es fehlt an nichts, ideal für drei Personen. Jonathan hat alles im Vorhinein organisiert, und auch am Ende. Vielen Dank nochmals dafür!

Relaxing week walking

Great central location, very fast broadband. The parking pass was greatly appreciated. Property was clean and well equipped. Only improvements would be a printed guest handbook on site and a welcome basket….especially a pint of milk.

Wundervolle Wohnung mit tollem Blick

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, der Blick über den Hafen von der Fensterbank ist sehr schön. Immer Flut und Ebbe im Blick und die gegenüber liegenden Häuser und Geschäfte zu beobachten im laufe des Tages hat uns sehr entspannt! Niedliche kleine Stadt, nicht allzu touristisch. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht, nicht Zuviel, nicht zuwenig.

„The Magic of Polperro“

The Polperro Fishermen’s Choir said it all with their song when performing in the harbour with us in the front row, right from the living room: Polperro has a unique magic between harbour life, inviting shops and friendly people and an incredibly beautiful costal setting. I can’t imagine a better way to experience Polperro than from this lovely high standard cottage. Access should be planned with a luggage transport service (Jonathan will give you the details), which should be arranged in advance. The effort to take for staying in the centre of a historic fishing and smuggling village is to leave the car a ten minutes walk away, absolutely worth it.
