Thistle House es una casa rural ubicada en Thistle Hill Ranch en Whitesboro, Texas.

¡Ideal para el fin de semana de chicas, Winstar World Casino, excursiones a bodegas a las bodegas cercanas! Viajes de pesca a Area Lakes, muchos lugares secretos para visitar y restaurantes para probar y tiempo en familia.

Ven y quédate a ver los brillantes cielos estrellados por la noche. Ver y escuchar los búhos y otros animales salvajes. Encienda la parrilla o use la cocina completa para preparar una comida para cenar al aire libre en el porche trasero con hermosas vistas de los campos, los árboles, el estanque y la puesta de sol.

Nuestros caballos y ganado probablemente lo saludarán a su llegada. Thistle House es una casa muy cómoda y muy bien mantenida con calefacción central y aire acondicionado completamente nuevos. Camas muy acogedoras. Decorado con buen gusto con un ligero tema rústico / rancho. Todas las comodidades del hogar y más.

A 25 minutos de Lake Texoma y Winstar World Casino. A solo 8 minutos del lago Ray Roberts.

Ubicado en el corazón de "Horse Country USA". Mucho que hacer en la zona.

Puede aventurarse a salir con una canasta y recoger nueces del bosque de nueces. Lanza una línea en el estanque y prueba suerte pescando Blue Gil y Catfish. (Atrapa y suelta) ¡O explora el arroyo y busca puntas de flecha! ¿Quieres hacer un recorrido por el granero y acariciar a los caballos? ¡Solo pregúntanos!

La cocina tiene todo lo que necesitas para preparar una comida gourmet. Hay una tienda de comestibles a 5 minutos. O bien, Instacart entrega los víveres de Tom Thumb directamente a la granja. Los electrodomésticos modernos más nuevos junto con una gran cantidad de ollas, sartenes y utensilios harán que preparar grandes comidas sea muy fácil. Las parrillas a gas y carbón están en el patio.

Toma un poco de vino, enciende una fogata en el pozo de fuego junto al estanque y siéntate y disfruta de la vida en el campo. S'mores alguien?

Las puestas de sol pueden ser impresionantes aquí. El cielo nocturno es increíble sin luces de la ciudad. ¡Las estrellas fugaces se pueden ver casi todas las noches! Trae tu cámara y crea recuerdos que durarán toda la vida.

Road Trip with Granddad

Before my son headed to college he wanted a road trip with his grandfather to learn how to play craps at Winstar. This was a great accommodations for these guys to relax and enjoy each others company.

Loved waking up to the horses, donkey and geese each morning. Loved the quiet and privacy. Owners responded within minutes to any questions. Family lives nearby so will return!

Wonderful property

Amazing place, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and it was a great place to visit with family. We loved that we could explore outside with the geese and horses. The kids won’t stop talking about it. The owners were wonderful and quick to respond to any questions or needs. They even had great recommendations for the area.

This is the type of property I could live there and be very happy. Our little dachshund had a ball rounding up the horses until she found out she was doing it by herself and made a dead run for the house. If you love the country this is the place for you.

Perfect retreat from the city

I requested the house both for the calm, country location but also because there was a lot of room in the living area. We were having a weekend of playing board games and wanted space to play them all. We had a wonderful stay and everything was very nice. The house was very clean and beautifully furnished. The owners were very responsive to all text for requests, such as setting up the fire pit. It was very fun to drive up and immediately have a horse come up to the fence to greet us. All the appliances worked well and the grill was great for making burgers. We definitely would come back and enjoyed our time very much.

Wonderful ranch home

We absolutely loved our stay at the Thistle House! The home was exactly like the pictures show but the views were even better. As we drove up the driveway we could see horses, a donkey, who we later learned was Daisy, geese, ducks and cows in the distance. They visit daily close by so make sure to say hi! The home was clean, inviting, spacious and met our needs well. Glen and Jennifer were very quick to respond and act on any issues or concerns. Being dog friendly was very important to us as our 2 dogs loved the open fields and the fenced in yard. Enjoyed a fire and lots of star gazing! We will definitely be back!

Location was nice. House was lacking.

Horses got through fence twice and rubbed on cars damaging one mirror and got into ice chest. WD had to run they out of yard and tie fencing backup. Outside trash can was full upon arrival. Fire ants are bad in yard. Lawn in back yard needed mowed badly and was full of dog poop. Let my dog out it stepped in the poop then I got charged for damaged wash cloth that had dog poop on it which I had to use to clean my dog’s foot off. Also got charged for another wash cloth that had makeup on it (they said it was an $8 towel) also charged for two blanket that had a small amount of dirt on them. Easily would have washed out in laundry. Property owner was just looking for an easy damage insurance claim for extra money in my opinion. So if you stay here be sure you take out the extra insurance damage as I did. Beds were comfortable oth

Lovely farm getaway

We needed to head up north for a few days and were lucky enough to be able to stay here. It's beautiful place to stay with a well furnished home on a secluded property. Our pups enjoyed the vast open spaces, with a fenced in back yard for when we'd prefer they didn't roam too far. Cows and horses complete the serene and rural setting. It was a little cold when we visited in December so weren't able to enjoy the pond with outside firepit, but we hope we'll be able to visit again during warmer months. Highly recommended getaway from the hustle and bustle!

Groom family getaway

From the friendly horses grazing and the ducks and geese swimming in the pond, to the oh so comfortable beds and more than ample family gathering space, Thistle Hill Guest House was a welcome breath, a respite, a benediction for us before our son’s wedding-“as you go” … “love God and love each other.” Thank you. We plan on annual escapes here!

Country living at its best

What a great find this property was! It was a last minute trip for our family. My husband and I our daughter, son and their +ones came along for the trip and truly enjoyed it. We loved being greeted by the horses Friday morning along with the donkey. Wish we could’ve stayed longer so the boys could’ve fished but we have already decided we will be back. If you’re looking for a last minute trip up to WinStar to do some gambling or just a peaceful quiet place stay at the property here in Whitesboro. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved this place from the minute we pulled in through the beautiful green trees. A little paradise in the woods! Loved sitting on the back porch watching the horses and geese by the pond. They thought of everything in this rental, we will define back!

Family Ranch Holiday

We had a beautiful and safe stay at the ranch. The property was clean and well equipped. The children enjoyed the animals and the property. The hosts were accommodating and responsive. We would definitely stay at Thistle House again when in the area.

Great Family Getaway

We had a great stay at the ranch! Loved getting to be so close to the donkey, horses and geese. Our 3yr and 1yr old daughters loved it. The fire pit was great to use at night. House was clean and perfect for what we needed!

Lovely quiet getaway

Great property! This is a lovely house on a beautiful property. Watch the ducks in the pond and horses roam the property. It was very clean with comfortable beds. The kitchen was great and we cooked several meals. The owner was quick to respond to any inquiries. This is the perfect place for a quiet getaway. We would happily return another time!

Since recently completing and moving into the new farmhouse, we have decided to open up the guest home, Thistle House, to visitors.

Not far from the hustle of Dallas, Texas. However, far enough where the city lights are non-existent at night. This makes for a very bright starry sky. Wildlife of all kinds can be seen and heard. Owls hooting at night. Coyotes howling in the distance. Birds chirping during the day. We invite you to discover what farm life is like. Just don't get insulted if we ask you to pitch in on a round up... Plus, we can help set up a winery excursion! Visit the three main wineries in St. Jo. You won't believe your are still in Texas! So much to do while visiting Thistle House.

Views out every window make this charming home fun to stay in. Enjoy some wine on the back patio as the sun sets over the pond and fountain. Need groceries delivered? Tom Thumb Grocery Store will deliver through the Insta-Cart app! Grill up your dinner on the charcoal or gas grill and enjoy eating outside under the bright stars. Light a fire at the pond and kick back, relax and enjoy life. Grab a basket and pick Pecans in the grove. Follow the creek and hunt for arrowheads. Don't worry if the horses or cattle come for a visit. They just want to welcome you to Thornbridge Hill Ranch. Maximum of 2, well behaved dogs, are welcome.
