Here you will find a cosy living room with deep filled sofas which surround a wall mounted TV offering the perfect spot for snuggling up in the evening to enjoy your favourite holiday movie after a long day exploring the local area. The farmhouse style dining table provides plenty of seating for six to come together for a hearty English breakfast or to enjoy a delicious home cooked evening meal. The coastline around the village is stunning offering towering chalk cliffs, a working lighthouse, nature reserve and the ever popular RSPB Bempton Cliffs. A little further along the cost is the bustling seaside town of Filey with it’s North Landing beach, where you can spend your afternoons relaxing on the soft sands sunbathing, or take a cool dip in the water. A little further afield is the North York Moors National Park and the unspoilt rolling beauty of the Yorkshire Wolds, both of which offer miles of walking and cycling opportunities. The historic City of York and Whitby, the home of Captain James Cook are easily accessible within an hour. The stately homes of Burton Agnes, Sledmere House and Sewerby Hall offer a little culture.
