Sleeping four people in two bedrooms, this spacious house is ideal for couples, families or 4 single people with each room accommodating either one super king or two luxurious single beds.

Situated over two floors, the accommodation comprises of a welcoming hallway open plan lounge/dining room with seating and dining facilities for 4 people.
Upstairs comprises of 2 large bedrooms one of which is en-suite and a further toilet/shower room.


The fully equipped, modern kitchen boasts a fridge freezer, electric hob, electric oven, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher, washing machine and is fully stocked with crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and ovenware to make your self-catering holiday as relaxing as possible. A tumble drier is also in place in the house.

Great place in Stirling

We had a wonderful time at Ionia House in Stirling. The house has all the amenities we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable! We truly enjoyed exploring Stirling while we were there.

Wonderful stay in Stirling

This was a great placevto stay at in Stirling. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Carole was very easy to contact and responded very quickly. The location is great. It is easily walkable to the Castle and downtown food/shopping and had a great pub across the street.areaWlovbeidurectly

Great, central location!

Visit was to meet up with family. Iona is a lovely house in a central location. Within walking distance to Stirling town, castle, restaurants etc. We all really enjoyed our stay and the beds are very comfortable. Just what you need after all the walking! Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Iona review

Situated in the heart of Stirling. Iona was a short walk to amenities, Stirling castle, pubs, trains and buses. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen had a microwave, toaster, range, fridge, washer, dryer and coffee maker. All user friendly. Thanks to our wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Great family stay at Iona House (Stirling)

We enjoyed our 10-day stay as a family at Iona House very much. Bedrooms were spacious, also other rooms provided what we needed. The house was fully equipped and is in an excellent location (5 mins walk to restaurants and shops in the town centre, 5 min up the hill to the castle). Top ratings for the host who was very helpful with advice and assistance (e.g., parking) and for the agency we booked with for timely and complete rental information as well as ease of booking. We highly recommend the house, as well as Stirling, as a great hub for holidays in Scotland using public transport.

Beautiful and well located

We were really impressed with how lovely and comfortable our stay was. And the kitchen was well supplied with any useful cooking device or tool, so making meals was easy. You can easily walk to the castle and to the busses and trains. If stairs are a problem for someone, it is important to note that the bedrooms are up one flight. We didn't mind a bit.

Perfect place to stay in Stirling

Perfect location, 10 minute walk from the train station. I would recommend a taxi if you have luggage or have mobility issues as the property is up a pretty steep road. Walking distance to stirling castle. 45 minutes to Edinburgh by train. Property is very clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive and left a very nice welcome basket. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Iona is the perfect holiday home!

This was our family's third time at Iona, and we appreciate it more with every stay! Iona is conveniently located in a charming neighborhood of Stirling, close to City Centre, historic sites, and transportation. Iona is meticulously maintained and clean, offering the comfortable feeling of being at home. The beds and linens are excellent, the kitchen well-stocked, and the appliances are in good working order. It is clear from every detail and amenity that the owners and manager of Iona take great care so that your visit is as easy and comfortable as possible. This is our first time visiting in the summer and Iona's garden is lovely - and a comfortable place to sit in the garden and enjoy the flowers and beautiful Stirling. We are so thankful for the responsive and kind communication from the property manager and for our time at Iona!

Iona Exceeds Expectations!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Iona! Iona is lovingly cared for and we were immediately charmed by the front entrance and garden. The home is very clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for exploring Stirling and the surrounding area. Lots of shops nearby and a very nice neighborhood. Carole is the very best host we have worked with; she is incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the nice linens and comfortable beds. The appliances are also clean and in excellent working order, making our stay that much more comfortable. It is easy to see the care and attention to detail at Iona - it is generously stocked and beautifully decorated. We highly recommend Iona and will be staying again this summer!

Very lovely and central accommodation

Iona is a beautiful accommodation with a very appealing decor. The equipment includes everything you need for a pleasant stay, also the kitchen is very well equipped. The second bathroom is also very practical. A parking lot is available right in front of the house. The owner is very friendly, after we arrived only after midnight, she put food in the fridge for us so we could have breakfast without leaving the house. That's really nice! The accommodation is very central, you can walk to everything in Stirling (train station, shops, restaurants, pubs, castle).

Kleines feines Ferienhaus, komplett ausgestattet und absolut sauber und gepflegt. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Wir waren 1 Woche hier und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Das Haus ist ideal um Ausflüge in die Umgebung von Stirling zu unternehmen.

Perfect home from home holiday accommodation

First of all I would like to thank Carole for being a great host. She is very friendly and helpful. We had never considered Stirling before and chose Iona because of it's central location. We stayed there at the New Year and had friends and family over to visit. They enjoyed exploring Stirling and the castle. The house is warm and cosy, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable which is important for me as I sometimes have trouble sleeping. No problems here at all. Had a lovely Hogmanay at the Settle Inn across the road chatting to the friendly locals and watched the fireworks at the Wallace Monument at midnight. All in all a great holiday home and at a very good price. I would have no hesitation in booking Iona again and would highly recommend Iona if you are looking for a self-catering holiday in Stirling.
