Rock Lynn - a bungalow that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

The lounge is lovely and bright has an open fire in a pine surround, two leather settees, colour TV, DVD, video and CD player. There are fabulous views towards the fells from the main bay window and side window. This is a perfect room in which to relax and just look out towards the views.

The dining kitchen is fully fitted and very well equipped with gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher microwave, etc, dining table and four chairs and patio doors which lead to the patio area. Off the kitchen there is a utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

There are two very comfortable bedrooms, one double room with a super king size bed, pine furniture, and coordinating fabrics. The front bedroom has an en-suite shower room with shower, WC and wash hand basin. The second bedroom is again well finished and has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with bath, WC and wash hand basin. Both bedrooms have zip-linked beds which means that either room can be made up as a double or a twin room. If you require a change in configuration of beds. (eg two doubles or two twin rooms) a charge of £15.00 will be made. Towels provided (one bath & one hand towel per person).

This is a lovely, bright bungalow with plenty of space, private parking to the front for up to four cars, a private patio to the side with picnic bench and the most exceptional views towards numerous fells. Rock Lynn is an ideal property where you can escape and relax but within striding distance of the pubs and shop and superb walking from the doorstep. To the back of the bungalow there is a steep grassed area where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the fells.

Peaceful place with a view

Wonderful cottage tucked away on the hill side with amazing views both from inside or at the top of the garden , this comfortable cottage had everything and more for us and the dogs in our favorite place in the lakes, can't wait to go back .

Just Wonderful!

Our 10th visit to this lovely bungalow in a wonderful location with glorious views. Spacious bedrooms both of which are en-suite. Good sized kitchen with utility room at the rear of the property. Lovely lounge with gorgeous views. Can't fault it!

A cottage with a view and a hot tub!

Very comfortable and well appointed bungalow with fantastic views. Lovely terrace if the weather's nice enough to sit out. And the hot tub is great, whatever the weather! We love Braithwaite so the property was ideally located for access to the local pubs and village shop.

A comfortable bungalow with far reaching impressive views, though the extremely steep drive is something we’d rather not tackle in icy weather. Keswick Cottages have very good customer service and the digital information ahead of visiting is very helpful. A nice welcome pack and lovely and warm on arrival. Overall would definitely recommend this property

A lovely winter break at Rock Lynn

We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at Rock Lynn, a very well presented, comfy and cosy property in a great location with lovely views all around. Comfortable bed and good modern bathrooms and kitchen, well equipped with everything we needed. The outdoor space was also very good and would be great in the warmer weather.

Fabulous place.

We can not fault this property for its comfort, cleanliness and location. It has everything you could possibly need or want for a fabulous break away. The bed was so comfortable the main shower was so powerful, just wonderful, the kitchen was well equipped, has everything you possibly need, brilliant. Having the utility room to come into with our dog and muddy boots after a long day out walking was a bonus.The view's are wonderful, the location just a few minutes walk into the lovely village where therei s a fabulous little shop and great pubs etc. The only disappointment for us was the hot tub, it says it takes 1 and a half to 2 hours to get to temperature but although we kept the fire going really well with the abundance of logs etc provided it actually took 2 hours 40 minutes to get to 38° and when finally getting in it, it was still luke warm at the bottom, very disappointed hence getting out and not bothering to use it again throughout the holiday. However as everything else got 10 out of 10 we would definitely return.

Lovely bungalow in a good location with great outside space.

We had a lovely 4 nights in baking hot weather so the outside space was fantastic. We ate outside every night, and didn't need to use the covered BBQ area - a genius idea for the usually wetter Lakes! The bungalow was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped. An added bonus was the utility room which allowed us to store our teenager's mountain bike safely. It's a great spot for riding up to Whinlatter Forest or walking up Grizedale Pike from the door.

Lovely relaxing break

Lovely cosy cottage. Clean, well equipped and fantastic views! Great location for walks and local pubs. The drive up to the cottage is definitely steep (hence the great views!) so not easy for our elderly dog so we used the car more than anticipated. Oh and the welcoming bottle of Prosecco was much appreciated!

Fantastic place to stay , views were amazing even on the wet days . Cottage is well equipped and great for a dog , only complaint is the bedroom curtains need to take an eye mask as they let lots of light in.

We have stayed in Rock Lynn many times. It is a lovely property with stunning views. It is clean and comfortable. The village of Braithwaite is peaceful and there are many walks locally. The town of Keswick is a short drive/walk from the house.
