Saltee View Holiday Home is a seaside holiday home located on the coast in County Wexford. This 4-bed property is the perfect base for a pet-friendly holiday with Ballyhealy Beach just a short walk away.
Kilmore Quay village is only a 10-minute drive, so you can go shopping and be back at the seashore in no time. The immediate area offers a variety of restaurants, beaches, cafes, and sporting activities. Take in the breathtaking views of the Saltee Islands from Ballyhealy sandy beach (3.2km).
This spacious seaside holiday home is ideal for exploring Ireland’s Sunny South East. Both Wexford and Waterford are within an easy touring distance of this delightful home, a great base for your next self-catering holiday in Ireland.
Saltee View Holiday Home – Sleeps 8
Saltee View Holiday Home is a bright and airy holiday home has 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 8 guests.

A mature, expansive garden surrounds Saltee View Holiday Home, a great outdoor space to relax and explore. Enjoy alfresco dining or an evening BBQ with family and friends from the outdoor furniture provider.
Ample parking is available beside this holiday home, plus there is garden storage space available where bicycles and other holiday equipment can be stored.
Wi-Fi is available and free of charge. Towels are provided.
Nespresso coffee machine available.
Smoking is strictly forbidden at this holiday accommodation.
Pet-Friendly Holiday Home Note
If you reserve a pet-friendly holiday home and wish to bring a dog(s), charges apply. Charges are payable on-site to the On-site Manager @ €25 per dog; a maximum of two well-behaved house-trained dogs per booking is permitted. Dogs must be flea and worm-treated. The garden is completely enclosed by wire fencing; however, owners still need to keep dogs under supervision. Please reserve at the time of booking via our call centre, as your dog(s) will not be accepted without prior confirmation.

IMPORTANT NOTES
1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter, while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival, how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival, or at other it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year, this can increase to €500 per property.
3. Arrival days:
During peak season, this holiday home is available on a Friday-Friday basis.
4. EV Charger:
EV charger – Charge agreed with the Property Manager.
5. Hen & Stage parties:
Saltee View Holiday Home does not accept groups of young people (up to 25 years) or stag/hen parties.

Wonderful stay at Saltee View
We had a fabulous stay at Saltee View. The house is very spacious and really well equipped and was perfect for our group of 8 adults and our dog. We were lucky with the weather during our stay and were delighted to be able to eat in the garden on a few evenings. The location is great with plenty of places to visit not too far away. Mags was very quick reply to any questions we had. We would highly recommend Saltee View to anyone looking to holiday in the sunny southeast!

Sun, sea and sand
The house is clean, modern, spacious and peaceful. The local beach (Bastardstown!) is just a few minutes walk. It’s possible to walk for miles when the tide is out.
Local restaurant (Mary Barry’s) is excellent.
All is fine.

The house is really well kept and equipped. We had everything we needed. The location is great - peaceful but driving distance to lots of attractions. We'll definitely be back!

A great seaside escape!
We loved the new kitchen and spacious backyard. An added bonus were the number of bathrooms, ample parking, and proximity to the beach! Mags, the property manager, went above and beyond to make our stay over Christmas special.

Relax and Refresh by the Sea
Perfect home for our family. Visited beaches, castles and parks during the day and relaxed with books and games at night. Mags was excellent and made sure we had everything we needed!

Stunning house in a lovely location
Beautiful house cannot recommend it enough. Spotless fully equipped.
Could do with more longer chairs for garden apart from that had a wonderfully family holiday with-sea views from the house.

Great house!
Love this house. A joy to stay in. Very spacious. Great kitchen. Loads of loos! Wonderful for family and friends’ gathering. Near to Kilmore Quay, which we love. So handy for the ferry. Hosting is excellent. A cut above many of the rental properties we stay in.

Amazing place!
WOW. What a place to stay. Cottage had everything you need, garden was safe and secure for the dogs. Location was quiet and perfect for us as a larger group. Wexford and other towns are about a 20 minute drive away. Was super clean and tidy, didn’t even see a spider in spider season! Would definitely recommend this cottage.
Maybe being able to use the fire would be the only thing we could think of.

Get of a house but a bit remote
Lovely house, good quality household items, decent beds and nice sheets etc.
House is fairly remote and while the beach is very short walk it’s not easy to get down to if you were not a decent climber ! Lots of other beaches a short drive away.
Nothing by the house standards, if you want a quiet and chilled break it’s ideal.
Mary Barry’s for food locally is excellent.

Great space!
Saltee View house was fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the space, how bright and airy it was, the cleanliness, the whole house was spotless! Really good quality beds and linens! Super comfy sofa in sitting room! Huge kitchen, stocked with everything you need! Massive green area outside! Back garden was like a football pitch! Great for little ones to run around as well as dog! Beach at the end of the road, only a few minutes walk. Getting down to it a bit tricky but doable. We found another way to get to it by driving a few mins up the road. Lovely Beach!
The property manager, Mags, was wonderful. Came to visit when I first got there to make sure everything was ok. Always at the end of a phone if we had any queries .
We loved our 3 weeks at Saltee View, was sad to leave!
Fridge in kitchen a bit small. Ok if only there for a week and it’s only two of you, but If you have full house, house sleeps 8, could do with larger fridge.

Large cosy and comfortable house by the sea
Very well equipped and shiny new kitchen with seating for eight people. WIFI is very good. Two TV rooms - one in main living room, and 2nd in smaller adjacent room, so one can be used for reading, games room, PlayStation, etc. Heating works well for colder months. Solar panels heat the water. Downstairs ensuite bedroom would suit anyone with mobility issues. Also standalone downstairs bathroom with electric shower. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, one ensuite with electric shower, (two double rooms and one twin) . Utility room has washing machine and large fridge freezer. Overall the house is bright, airy and comfortable. Back garden is very large and enclosed so will suit families with small children and over excited dogs. Best for 4 to 8 people.
Cleaning was not thorough on arrival.
Living room seating isn't sufficient for 6 to 8 people as bean bags don't suit everyone.
Too many sticky notes around the house. Better to have a "do's and don'ts" booklet.
