Marvellous Villa

So much space at this amazing property... Felt very secure and a great place for our two families to relax. The pool is absolutely lovely and attended to every day. Air conditioning worked well. Only real disadvantage is the distance of the villa from the local town and beaches, so only really suitable if you have your own car. Great friendly host too, with great communication - we had a trouble free booking from start to finish.

Absolutely amazing stay in Villa Domus!

The house exceeded all expectations. It was clean and well equipped and the views of the olive trees beautiful houses was great. We enjoyed the tennis courts every day and the kids loved the swimming pool.

Lovely place and very nice host.

We enjoied the place very much. The pool, the tennis court and the house were in fine conditions. Lovely weather with sunshine all day. Best regards from the Fredsgaard family from Denmark.

Just perfect

We were two families travelling together and we spent a fantastic week at villa. The villa and the surroundings are much better than the pictures show. Monica was very helpful, before and during our stay. She answered alle our questions and even made sure we had water upon arrival. The villa was very clean, and very well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was equipted with everything we needed. Since we had spent four days in Rome before coming to Santa Marinella, we were more than happy with spending as much time at the villa as possible. The beautiful, serene surroundings made our week heavenly. Our five children loved the pool, playing tennis, visiting the horse and donkeys and looking at the sheep next door. Practical info: We didn't have a car, but that wasn't av problem because the line 3 bus stopped just a five minute walk away. But we recommend a car if you want to spend more time away from the villa as the bus doesn't go that often. The local beach is just av 10-15 minute walk from the villa and is small but ok and has both av restaurant and a kiosk. We visited three different supermarkets, and reccomend Supermercato Elite of the three. Again; this is a beautiful place and we loved spending time there!

Excellent!

7 adults and 2 kids spent a lovely holiday in Villa Domus. The house was spacious, very clean and had all the equipment we needed (starting from tennis rackets to good variety of kitchen utensils). The weather was unusually hot for June and we really appreciated the swimming pool. It took less than 10 minutes to the nearest small beach, which was a very good spot for snorkelling; more sandy beaches can be found for example in Santa Marinella centre. We did not rent a car but we used city buses (1.1 €/ticket, the nearest bus stop is maybe 600 m from the house) and trains. Very well equipped supermarket called "Elite" was about 30 minutes away by walking, which was ok for us, but a car is definitely handy since the drinking water has to be bought (tap water was not drinkable, but we used it for cooking without any problems). Some of us went running in the mornings, and the hilly terrain combined with hot weather offered enough challenges at least for us! Santa Marinella was a really nice town, there were many restaurants, gelaterias, and small shops there. Rome can be reached by bus or a train and the public transport is cheap. We also visited Civitavecchia by bus. We can definitely recommend Villa Domus for families or group of friends: the kitchen / living room is large and 9 people ate and spent time together there easily. Terrace and swimming pool are also big and there was even a new grill in the garden which we didn't have time to use. Everyone can have also their own privacy as well, and each of the bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Monica brought us some fruits directly from their garden, eggs and olive oil; all delicious! We got a guided tour around the premises, which was really nice. We want to thank Monica and her parents for their hospitality and the great vacation we had!

Wonderful house, great pool and tennis court.

The seven of us stayed two weeks at Villa Domus and enjoyed every bit of the villa. The villa itself contains four good-sized bedrooms all with private AC and bathroom. Open living room/kitchen area with a large dining table for eight people. The barbeque was in use often. The outdoor area was large and well maintained and we had all our meals on the terrace. The pool was in use every day and although it is not the biggest pool, it works very well. We could use the two tennis courts on the premises and this was great family fun as the sun was setting and temperatures allowed for such sporty activities. Our 17 Y.O. son demanded WIFI to manage two weeks with the family. As there is no WIFI at the villa, this was an issue before we left. The owner advised us to buy a pre-paid SIM card from TIM that we used to set up a local 4G WIFI system. It was only €29 and worked perfectly for the two weeks. A car is advised, but you can walk to the local beach and a couple of restaurants, although it is not a very pleasant road to walk along late in the evening. We would like to thank Monica for taking such good care of us, and thank you for the fresh fruit that suddenly appeared on the door one morning. We would like to return to Santa Marinella and Villa Domus.

Great week in Santa Marinella

We (2 families with 3 and 2 children) spent a wonderful week in Santa Marinella. Many thanx to our host Monica, who gave as a warm welcome and useful tips for our stay. Pool and tennis court are great and our children had a great time using them excessively ;-). Twice we visited Rom by train, which was easy and comfortable. Dishwasher is working and the house has wonderful clean rooms. Perfect week!

Eine sehr schöne Villa mit viel Liebe zum Detail

Wir (4 Erwachsene, 2 Teenager, 1 Kind) haben in Villa Domus eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht. Es gibt sehr viel Platz, das Haus ist solide gebaut, die Badezimmer sind sehr gepflegt. Die Küchenutensilien könnten ein wenig erneuert und ergänzt werden. Hinweis: Es gibt keine Spülmaschine. 45 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Rom, 5 Minuten zum Strand. Im jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Tolles Ferienhaus

Die Villa Domus in Santa Marinella ist ein perfektes Ferienhaus. Gut ausgestattet bietet sie viel Platz in 4 großen Schlafzimmern für 8 Gäste. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad. Der Wohnbereich ist sehr geräumig, in der Küche ist alles notwendige vorhanden. Die Lage ist ruhig und man blickt ins Grüne. Zum Anwesen gehören auch Pferde und Esel, die Kindern zum Streicheln viel Freude bereiten. Die Vermieterin ist äußerst nett und hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Das highlight ist aber der zur Villa gehörige Pool, groß und blitzblank sauber - viel Freude für Kinder und Erwachsene; Liegen etc. sind vorhanden. Die Villa Domus können wir rundum für einen erholsamen Urlaub empfehlen ! Der Bahnhof von Santa Marinella ist nur 3 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, ab hier fährt mindestens ein Zug pro Stunde nach Rom, weniger als eine Stunde Fahrzeit. Die Etruskernekropolen von Cerveteri und Tarquinia sind in 30 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Ein günstiger Standort also auch um Kultur und Erholung zu verbinden.

Fantastisch

Es war ein Traum. Wir hatten unbeschreiblich schönes Wetter und dieses traumhafte Domizil mit unendlich viel Platz. Das war eine Woche Erholung pur. Zudem waren die Vermieter so herzlich, das man sich nur Wohlfühlen könnte. Wir kommen sehr gerne im nächsten Jahr wieder. Mille grazie.

Traumurlaub

Wir, Großeltern, eine junge Familie mit einem 4-jähriger Jungen und einem 5 Monate alten Baby haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wir hatten unendlich viel Platz in einem großzügigen, gepflegten Domizil. Die Vermieter haben uns mit viel Herzlichkeit empfangen. Ottima scelta per una vacanza rilassante

Abbiamo soggiornato qui una settimana in 8 persone (5 adulti e 3 bambini). Ogni dettaglio della villa è ben curato. Le 4 camere sono spaziose, ognuna con televisore e bagno privato, ed è tutto molto pulito ed ordinato. Il soggiorno è molto grande ed accogliente e la cucina completa e funzionale. La villa si trova a 2 minuti di macchina dal lungomare, in una tenuta panoramica e silenziosa, con grande patio e parcheggio privato. La proprietaria è molto disponibile e piena di consigli utili riguardo posti da visitare, ristoranti, stabilimenti balneari, ecc. Vivamente consigliato per una vacanza rilassante e senza problemi di spazio.

"La maison est encore mie...

"La maison est encore mieux que sur l''annonce: spacieuse, décorée avec gout et avec un grand jardin. Elle est bien située, proche des commerces, restaurants, de la plage ( castello à Santa Severa), de Rome et des sites touristiques (Tivoli, Viterbo, Tarquinia...). En même temps, l''endroit est très calme. Nous avons reçu un accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires, qui nous ont fait gouter leurs produits (huile d''olive, fruits, légumes...). Absolument délicieux! Les enfants ont aussi fait la connaissance d''un âne et d''un poney et en sont enchantés."

"Diese Villa ist traumhaf...

"Diese Villa ist traumhaft! Jedes der 4 Zimmer hatte ein separates Bad, alles war sehr sauber und das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Aussengelände ist ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und bietet enorm viel Platz.Mit dem Auto ist man in 5 Minuten am Meer und im Centrum der Stadt. Von den Vermietern wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt."
