Magnificent, luxurious and remote are the first three words that come to mind when you first encounter Villa Angi, an impressive 4 bedroom villa situated in the tourist town of Biograd na Moru, accommodating up to 10 guests. Completely private and featuring a heated pool, Villa Angi includes all of the home comforts you and your family need to enjoy a sumptuous and relaxing stay; including en suite bathrooms to all bedrooms, flat screen TVs. Wifi, a PS4, and air conditioning throughout.

The interior of Villa Angi has a rustic flavour, with plenty of rich, heavy wood, high-specification furnishings and top quality fixtures and fittings. The fresh white decor is beautifully offset with on-trend smokey grey accents, lush, healthy houseplants and stylish artistic touches throughout. The living area features soft, velvety soft furnishing is jade and opulent purple, and all of the furniture is handsomely crafted and in keeping with the villa's modern country cottage aesthetic.

The kitchen is as stylish as they come, with exposed brickwork, and hardwood work surfaces. It’s fully equipped with everything you’ll need to enjoy delicious, family meals during your stay, including oven, hob, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, kettle - and of course those all important wine glasses! - there’s even a highchair available for those travelling with infants.

The bedrooms are spacious, light and airy, with fresh white linens, plenty of storage space and ensuite facilities. There are three double bedrooms in the villa, and one twin - although the beds can be connected to make another double, and there’s also a cot available.

The grounds of Villa Angi are no less impressive, with an immaculately landscaped garden, 10mx4m swimming pool, as well as deckchairs, tabourets and parasols. You’ll find a stylish outdoor dining area and bbq - perfect for evening meals as the sun sets - and a child’s play area that includes a playhouse and slides, ensuring guests of all ages have an exciting and memorable time. Guests here can also enjoy the use of two adult bicycles - ideal for exploring the town.

Location:

Biograd na Moru (locally known as ‘Biograd’ - ‘na moru’ meaning ‘on the sea’), is a popular holiday and sailing destination. The most indented part of the Croatian coastline, Biograd is perfect for those who want to be near the sea, and it’ll come as no surprise that there is a large marina here. Located near to the popular tourist destinations of Sibenik and Zadar, Biograd is in a prime location for those who want to visit Croatia’s national and nature parks.

One of the most popular beaches in the area is Soline Beach, a rare sandy gem where you’ll find excellent facilities such as changing areas and showers, cafes and bars and rental places where you can hire boats, canoes and dinghies. You’ll find plenty of shade here thanks to the pine trees that surround the beach, and that, along with the shallow waters make this beach an excellent choice for those holidaying with young children. Closer to the town but along the same stretch you’ll find the pebbly Drazica beach, also featuring excellent amenities.

History buffs will want to visit the Biograd Museum while they’re here, which is home to many items of interest from the area’s rich history. One of the most interesting is an exhibit of items that were found aboard a sunken Venetian ship that was lost off the coast in the 16th century, and that lay undisturbed until it was discovered by a fisherman 400 years later in 1967. You’ll also find a number of beautiful churches in the town, including the 18th century Church of St Anastasia and the Church of St Rocco.

After all that sight-seeing, you won’t be hard-pushed to find somewhere to enjoy a bite to eat, with plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes dotted through the town, all serving up traditional dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients.
