2 camas dobles (1 con baño en suite) y 1 individual, salón con TV, DVD, WiFi y estufa de leña, cocina totalmente equipada, segundo baño con cabina de ducha, lavabo e inodoro, amplio invernadero con impresionantes vistas a la bahía de Morecambe, vestíbulo con lavadora, calentadores de almacenamiento nocturno, pero también varios calentadores convectores independientes.
Amplios terrenos privados con áreas de descanso, muebles de jardín y escondite para observar aves. También zona de estar elevada con vistas a la bahía.
La propiedad está aislada pero a solo 5 minutos a pie del pueblo de Baycliff, que cuenta con 2 pubs que sirven comida .; A 3 km del centro budista Manjushri y a 6 km de la animada ciudad de Ulverston, con sus numerosos festivales.
Paseos increíbles y paseos en bicicleta desde la propiedad en sí (incluido Birkrigg Common con su círculo de piedra) o solo un corto viaje al Distrito de los Lagos.
Amado por los observadores de aves, dueños de perros, caminantes, familias y aquellos que buscan paz y tranquilidad.

Very disappointed, The property needs a complete renovation, not as advertised, don’t rely on reviews as they are not consistent., apparently there have been problems there for many years & have not been put right. Have made a complaint to company advertising this property & said they should check it out as I don’t want any other people rent the property to be disappointed as we were, it needs a complete update.

The location was amazing. Secluded with beautiful views...exactly what we wanted. There was a lovely supermarket just a couple of miles away. The property was in reasonable distance from local attractions. Peil Castle and the train to lake Windemere were firm favourites with the kids, as was the beach...right outside the gate! The cottage was clean and had all the facilities required.We look forward to visiting again.

Super location, perfect for dogs

Simple but more than adequate accommodation. Well situated for visiting local attractions. Miles of walking on the beach. Host very helpful.

Property is in a beautiful location but needs some serious improvement.

Property is in an excellent location but work needs doing inside & outside of the house, we had a few issues which I communicated to the owner but thought it over priced for the conditions on saying that it could be made lovely & be a little gem.

Beautiful peaceful haven

We loved our stay at this property. It's a ground floor cottage fronting onto Morecambe bay and it is super peaceful, the views are amazing as the sea comes in and out, and the bird-watching opps are brilliant. Sparrow hawk swept through the garden, oyster catchers, plovers and others were in the bay. The cottage is lovely at a basic level so don't expect great luxury. That suited us fine. The sunroom looking onto the bay was so relaxing. Walks along the beach are a bit tricky although the owners say to walk out across the sands. We weren't so sure about this. There is access to other treats in the vicinity though so all fine. Garden and beach access for our dog was secure so brilliant to be able to relax as he explored.

Stunning location

Peace..tranquillity..relaxation what more do you want from a holiday....this place has it. Totally enclosed huge garden space which my dog loved. It was also a total suntrap which i loved. Windows open listening to waves on the shore...idyllic. I adore cows so to have them in the field behind & greeting us each morning was a total bonus.... Walking to Bardsea or other way to Aldingham in mornings with dog to eatch the sunrise...was just bliss. Couple of issues which lovely owner Rose dealt with quickly & efficiently & was lovely.

Heavenly Holiday

Just come back from a wonderful restful holiday at Maskel Beach Cottage. Was very clean and cosy, all very lovely and comfy. Fantastic views and cottage has everything you need. Rose was a wonderful host and provided us with a welcome bottle and all the logs we wanted. Everyone enjoyed the beach being right next to us and so peaceful and quiet, dogs absolutely loved it and have sulked ever since we got back. Would definitely recommend and we will be back. Thank you very much Rose and Bob for sharing your home.

If you want peace,beautiful location this is it,loved it

Stayed mid March cold raining, the heating was on when we got there so we could relax straight away, a lot of thought has gone into making it homely and comfortable. The location is fantastic, we were on the beach at least three times a day, The farmer arms pub is lovely and they welcome dogs too, Overall absolutely loved it would recommend it .Would love to stay there again,bet its amazing in summer time, thank you Rose

Great break!

We had a great week here. The property had enough space for the four of us with plenty of room to sit in the conservatory and enjoy the view. The location was amazing, you are literally right on the beach. Ulverston is only a short drive away for provisions or a meal out. Really sad to leave as it was a wonderfully relaxing place to be.

Xmas break

Obtaining entry to the cottage was easy, cleaning was very very poor we had to hoover & mop as soon as we got there it already smelt of wet dogs even though we had dogs we dried them off before letting them in the cottage. Bedding felt damp and had a musky smell like it had not been aired or had windows open to let the air flow through. More security lights needed you can’t see when coming back in the dark.Was great location perfect for the dogs, great little pub the farmers nearby. As a family there for Christmas we made the most of it. Property in need of some TLC & updating.

tranquil waterside location

This cottage is a lovely restful retreat for all the family.It is great if you want to just enjoy the views and walks.The cottage is lovely and cosy with lots of character.It is also great if you want to take bikes or kayaks as the lakes are easy to access from the cottage.We have stayed several times as we have enjoyed the cottage location on the beach.

Lovely location

Property and garden would benefit from a little more attention. Location was brilliant. No DVD player (as specified). Doggie heaven and very secure even for smallest of dogs.

Wonderful cottage, amazing views - top class!

Beautiful quiet location. Excellent facilities - everything we might need and more. Extremely helpful and detailed book contained so much information about the area and all facilities. Owners available at short notice if required. All in all my stay with children (grown up ) and grandson (3 1/2 going on 30) was marvellous.

Open the gate and you are on the beach so good for our dogs .enclosed big patio beautiful views .We would just prefer updated showers towels . We had a wonderful stay and would go back

Lovely place, great place to relax and chill out, away from everyone! Peaceful vacation, nice beach, beautiful views plus lovely pub with 10 minutes walk. Wonderful sunrise, if you're up early enough! Met owners on the off-chance, lovely people, very friendly too, thanks for a wonderful time. Will be looking to book again.

Fabulous Location, Comfy welcoming cottage

We had a wonderful break away, what a great cottage and location, The beach right on our doorstep. It had everything we needed and more, rooms are bigger than the pictures indicate, clean, warm and welcoming. Even storms Dudley & Eunice didn't detract from our enjoyment. In fact we watched the storms from the comfort of the conservatory, The sea was amazing. Thank you Rose, we will definately be back

My husband grew up in nearby Barrow and, as a family we have explored the area with our children for many years. Keen to continue this even when his parents were no longer around, we fell in love with this cottage which we think is in an idyllic location. Although we live more than 200 miles away, we visit whenever we can - our dogs are in their element at the cottage and run for miles across the sands. Our children as adults visit with their friends - taking the opportunity to go for long walks, bike rides,paddling their kayaks and flying kites.

We had no intention of purchasing a property but it was one of those moments where we both fell instantly in love with the cottage and location and knew we must have it. We've had no regrets and, besides letting it out, ourselves, family and friends have had many magical holidays at the cottage.
The cottage is cosy and quirky and equipped with everything you may need - hopefully! Dogs are safe in the grounds of the property but so near the beach for long walks. You can relax in the privacy of the gardens on sun loungers or choose to sit on the raised decking so you have a stunning view out over the bay.

Location, location! stunning views from the conservatory and gardens over Morecambe Bay with the hills of the Lake District in the distance. The seclusion and tranquillity of the cottage - no near neighbours. Pubs (and food) 5 mins walk away, one dog friendly. Vast sands to walk out on (ideal for dogs). Amazing bird life in Morecambe Bay can be viewed from the property. Ideal base for exploring Southern and Western Lake District or just going for walks and bike rides from the property.
