Could be better
The kitchen table cloth had a dried baked bean tomato sauce stain on it. Turned it over to find an even bigger food stain. Disgraceful a cleaner would leave it from previous occupiers.
I bought one in the local shop to use during our stay.
The hall, stairs and landing had 'bit and pieces' on the carpet.
I tried to hoover them up but it would not pick them up.
I took the cover off of the dirt box. I don't think it had ever been emptied from new - it was jammed-packed with 'crap' - no wonder it wouldn't pick up.
I got a teacup to use, only to find about two inches of sugar in it, and crusty around the rim.
The sink and a couple of surfaces needed a good wipe down.
The website states the house is professionally cleaned. I suggest they need retraining.
Car parking at the rear has space for the property and a space for the neighbour at no. 7. They park their car too far over so you can't get in.
There is another allotted space further away. Again no.7 had a car parked over their line so I had to park elsewhere.
The worst part of the holiday was at night, which again involved the same neighbour.
They have an air vent above their kitchen window. The roof guttering leaks onto it. They have put a tin plate just above the vent to protect it.
For four nights, after it had rained, it dripped on the plate at a very loud rate of two drips a second - every minute - every hour. It was impossible to sleep. Everything is louder at night.
It wasn't all bad. The house décor was clean and fresh. Rooms and bathroom are a good size.
We left the house in a lot cleaner state than we found it.
