Excellent vacation. Our room was absolutely beautiful... the view off the balcony was worth its weight in gold. Highly recommend this unit!

Nice place

The resort had plenty to offer. Shower and tub wasn't very clean. Check in is a nightmare!!! Thats not the listing agents fault at all though. Pools, lazy river, hot tubs and beach access were great. The Tiki bar was awesome and the food was great. I would stay here again and rent from Vicky if I'm in Daytona again.

Poor management and customer service

Let me start by saying I have gone to the oceanwalk and stayed many times but this time was awful. 1. The AC in the unit did not work. And another room was not available. The owner did offer to refund my money but we drove over 14 hours to get there so we couldn’t really leave and since there was a sport tournament in town there was no other rooms available so we were stuck. Originally the AC was supposed to be fixed Monday (we arrived Saturday). We could stick it out. Was the AC fixed Monday? No it didn’t end up getting fixed until Friday. After multiple days of having a repair man in our room for multiple hours each time they ended up completely replacing the whole system which could have been done the first day. We had to end up spending a large part of our trip in the room because we didn’t feel comfortable with leaving all of our belongings with someone we had never met before being in our room. Not to mention being told on more than one occasion that the repair man would be there first thing in the morning and not showing up until after noon. The own Lee did end up giving us a refund of $500 (Less than 25% of what we spent) but after her “your lucky to be getting that” comment we will be finding someplace else to renting from now on. 2. The plates in the pantry were dirty 3. The water slide was only open 2 days out of the 9 days we were there. The pool and lazy River would be randomly closed in the evening. Two of the outdoor hot tubs had no working jets and one only had one. 4. The shopping center that was advertised as having a movie theater and a pizza place ended up have both places permanently closed.

The outside and Oceanwalk was great. Beautiful place especially pools and jacuzzis. All the staff were great. The condo we rented was privately owned and I wanted to leave the minute I walked in. Told the wife I was ready to leave and she told me to pack my bags. Husband was great though. I washed all the bedding,cleaned all cabinets and dishes they were filthy. The furniture I didn't even want to sit on and the carpet was so dirty that my white socks didn't even come clean. The only thing I can say good is the bed was comfortable. And the husband replaced the tv in bedroom because my laptop was just as big. Was the longest 3 weeks I ever stayed and usually we stay stay in Daytona a month. We've stayed there before and the condo was beautiful and privately owned so they aren't all alike. I'd ask for pictures 1st but doubt we will ever stay at Oceanwalk part it'll be the Wyndham side instead.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It wasn’t as clean as I had hoped but overall it was a nice place to stay.

Ocean View, Room could be cleaner

Really enjoyed my stay at the Wyndham Ocean Walk. The view from the room was beautiful. My only complaints is the washer and dryer could be fixed. Both machines had loose knobs. I had to keep turning the knobs for a wash to keep going. The other complaint is that there were bugs crawling on the floor when first entering the room after checking in. Other wise the room was pretty clean, furniture was good. Appliances were in good shape. Great check in and check out process, staff were great. Great access to the pool and beach. Close walk to the main street. Would stay again in this resort.

The condo was great. Wonderful view from the balcony. The kitchen could have been cleaner but I didn’t do any cooking so it was fine. The resort is really nice with plenty of amenties. The beds were also very comfortable.

Disappointed with room.

The room was in bad need of updating,(South Tower) the cook wear was so bad I didn't even try and cook with it, the couch and chair totally worn out and stained or dirty or both, one lamp was broken, border around wall at ceiling in bedroom was hanging loose, the bath sink is broken and stained, the tub/shower was stained. The room needs a lot of attention.

Overall great property

This was my first trip to this property. I found the check in process to be quick and painless. The pictures of the room and property were accurately depicted. I did have a small issue with the door lock on the room that was reported the second day and was still not properly repaired upon check out. Restaurant staff slow and indifferent to customers.

Very nice place

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was just like the picture on the listing. The view from the balcony were spectacular. The beds were very comfortable and it did have a washer/dryer for our convenience. Only one complaint, they should provide oven mitts and one more set of dish cloth/dish towel. We stayed 7 nights and I could of used an extra set. However overall this was a very nice place to stay and we would come back.

Nice for the money

We love the location of Wyndham for October Bikefest. The unit was nice, but the cleaning staff did not do good job of cleaning....dishes were not clean. I realize that I could of had this corrected, but did not want to spend time getting it done, when I could do faster. The unit needed repairs and smelled of fried fish. The dryer did not work well and took 3 50min cycles to dry clothes. While these issues were somewhat of a nuisance, it will not keep us from staying again. The overall property is very well kept compared to others. You cannot beat the pool, bar, and restroom areas! They are clean and well kept. The staff is overall very nice and helpful

Loved Our Stay During Bike Week

Outdated and not properly cleaned.

The view of the room we stayed in on the 17th floor was amazing. However, the unit itself needs a little TLC. We stayed 2 nights and was told our room was clean and ready early. When we checked into the room we noticed that the comforters on the beds were dirty. One had shimmery make up all over it while the other looked like it had drool stains on it. The accent pillows also had makeup smeared on it. We contacted the owners regarding it and they were able to change it the next day. That night we had to sleep on the bed with no comforter. We also paid in advance for wifi and the first day we could not even connect to the wifi. We were able to connect the following morning after we notified the owner and they had it rebooted. However, later in the day the password we were provided no longer worked. We were really disappointed that we paid Extra for wifi we could barely connect to. After we checked out we realized our 3yr old daughter left her new doll she got at disney earlier in the week in the room. We called the owner when we realized it and was rudely told that we would have to pay A ridiculous amount ( more then the cost of the doll itself) for them to look for it and mail it back to us and that we should just consider it a lost.Our 3yr old was devastated. We probably will not rent again.

Great stay!

Room was great. Great view. Enjoyed the workout facility and the lazy river. Parking garage was full a couple of nights so we had to park across the street. Enjoyed the "pool front movie"!
