Wonderful traditional Finnish holiday house in silent forest lake

Summary:
The cottage is located on a very quiet lake deep in the woods. This is the perfect place to go nature, hike, meditate, rest, bonga birds, mushroom, fish, berry pick or just explore the local countryside near Tampere.

The Space:
There are only 5 other cottages in Niemijärvi and we have tried to keep the place very quiet. loud motor boats. To get to this cottage you need a car, the road to the cottage is a very small forest highway. You also need good camping gear, nature is wild and we recommend wearing decent outdoor shoes and clothes. You can also bring your pet to this cottage.

BEDROOMS
The cottage has two bedrooms. One has a 160 cm wide double bed and the other a 120 cm wide bed.
If you need bed linen and towels, you can rent them from us separately for 10 e / person / visit

KITCHEN AND GRILLING
The kitchen has cooking utensils, a dining table and crockery for 6 people. The kitchen is equipped with a hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer. There is also an open fireplace next to the cottage, for example for frying sausages. Water to the cottage comes from own well, it is fresh and suitable for drinking and cooking.

SAUNA, SHOWER AND TOILET
The cottage has a fast-heating electric sauna, and the sauna’s washroom has a shower. The bathroom has a modern freezer toilet seat. There is also an outdoor toilet in the yard of the cottage.

YARD AND BEACH
Next to the cottage there is a small terrace where it is nice to sit and admire the landscape. Below the slope there is a private pier where you can take a dip for a swim. You have a rowing boat at your disposal, and on request we will also provide you with a boating vest (please tell us the sizes you need in advance).

FISHING
If you want to fish and you are 18-64 years old, you will need to pay a state fisheries management fee. Example prices: 6 e / 1 day, 15 e / 7 days. The most convenient way to make a payment is in the Batch Permits online store. You can also rent a quiet electric outboard motor from us for 15 euros a day.

PETS
Pets are welcome at this cottage!
Please inform about pets when booking. Be sure to clean the animals' hairs from the cottage and furniture before you leave, and clean the yard from the garbage.
Make sure that pets do not cause injury. You will be responsible for damages in both the cottage and the cottage environment.

LINEN AND TOWELS
Bed linen and towels if required 10 e / person / visit.
FINAL CLEANING
You can order final cleaning in advance or during your stay. The price of the final cleaning is 60 €. If you clean yourself, the cottage will have the necessary cleaning supplies and materials. Do not clean until the day of departure!
However, if you order a final cleaning, do this:
• do the dishes and put them in place
• take the rubbish to a waste point
• Collect bottles and cans in a bag
• move the furniture into place
• Leave the linen stacked on top of the bed
• take away the food you brought with you
• If you have pets, clean the hair and clean up the waste

If you do the final cleaning yourself, in addition to the above, do the following:
• Vacuum carpets
• Wipe the floors with a damp mop
• Wipe tables and levels with a damp cloth
• Ventilate bedding outdoors
• wash toilet and sauna
• take the rubbish to a waste point

Guest Access:
The villa is located in Orivesi, about 70 kilometers from Tampere. The drive from Tampere is less than 1 hour and from Jyväskylä 1.5 hours. To get to the cottage, you need a car. There is a parking space next to the cottage.

Other Things to Note:
We recommend that you bring outdoor shoes, warm and rainproof clothing and rubber boots to the cottage. There are steep steps from the beach sauna to the water, so bathing in the beach sauna is best suited for adults who are able to move normally.
