Nestled within the prestigious \"Palais Albert\" residence, which was once home to the legendary Pablo Picasso, this Belle Epoque rooftop apartment accommodates up to 4 guests and boasts a large terrace with breathtaking sea views and a convenient location just a few steps from the sandy beaches, shops, restaurants, the local supermarket, the Provencal market, and the old town.

The interior of the air-conditioned apartment is spacious, bright, and elegantly decorated in a classic style, with beautiful parquet flooring and sliding bay windows that open onto the 30-square-meter terrace. Essential kitchen utilities include a microwave, american style coffee machine, induction hob, fridge and toaster.

And a 10- 15 minute drive away, you can also enjoy the nightlife scenes at Juan-Les-Pins, the beaches of Plage du Ponteil as well as the Eilenroc Gardens at Villa Thuret, the stunning Bay of Millionaire and the Exflora Park with Mediterranean and Islamic Style gardens.

Historic building, location and terrace views were amazing. Close walk to beach and old town. Responsive agent. Apartment’s general maintenance (furnishings) and cleanliness needs attention, maybe some decluttering.

Antibes is amazing, and so is the view from this balcony. It is an old house with character and charm. If you are looking for a huge balcony with epic views this is the place.

Great location with an amazing view.

8 nights. A wonderful location. The balcony and views are spectacular . The only issues we had was the vrbo listing stated a pull out bed in the livingroom which was not available. We requested extra sheets and made up a cot. Also bathroom only available thru the bedrooms. And the shower is in a bedroom, not a separate bathroom.

Perfect location, spectacular view

We loved our stay in this historic apartment. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of space to relax after a long day exploring Antibes. We spent every evening on the terrace gazing at the view. Everything is exactly as described. We will be back!

I should say that the property was clean with great view. We stayed for 6 days for a wedding. It was advertised as 2 bedroom (which was true) and 2 bath (which is partially true). There is only one toilette and one shower. There is one tub without curtain and no place to hang the shower and you have to hold the hose. So, basically I think Expedia should look into it and advertise as 2 bedroom and one bath/toillet. There was only 2 toilette papers, each half full, and when we asked for more, the owner refused to provide! My cousin rented another apartment close by (family gathering for a wedding) and when they asked where they can buy Nespresso capsule, a box of capsule was by the door the next day, but the owner of this property refused to provide additional paper toilette! So there are better options for rent, that is for sure.

Not up to usual standard

Whilst the terrace in the apartment had a good view: -many of the electrics in the apartment did not work. This included basic things like light switches in the bedrooms -the plug points were overloaded and this really worried us -the shutters in the living room did not work. As a result daylight came into the apartment early in the morning disturbing our sleep. We originally chose the apartment due to it having a sofa bed as another friend was considering staying with us for the weekend. It is just as well that she did not, as the sofa bed would have been unusable with the shutters not working. She would not have been able to get any sleep! -the cutlery/crockery was not well-cleaned and was disorganised -the bathrooms were very old and not well cleaned -we were not allowed to keep our bags in the apartment til noon, and instead had to get out by 10am. This is the first time in 30 years of renting that an agency/manager has not allowed me to keep a suitcase in the apartment for a couple of extra hours -Basics that are usually provided in apartment rentals were not provided here - e.g. washing up liquid, olive oil, spare bin bags.
