We booked the property for some engineers to stay in whilst working in Greenwich Park Perfect location and ideal for what we needed

Short stay in London

The property was clean, neat and tidy and met the requirements for my situation There were annoying dripping sounds in the bedroom and lounge/ kitchen when it rained, so I was forced to move to the other bedroom to sleep. I would recommend more condiments ( something a tourist would not buy) and at least a tea towel or two be supplied to dry dishes ( again visitors do not come equipped with this nor want to buy) Conveniently close to bus routes but only a Tesco express is available, everything else is a bus ride away Otherwise on the whole it was fair

Wasn't what was promised

My first complaint is the delayed response from the host to texts. Everything from questions about transportation and the neighborhood were either dismissed or given snarky responses to. My biggest complaint is that there weren't linens for all of the beds. When we finally got a response from the host she blamed the cleaning person and offered no solution. We were 3 travelers each over 50 years old and each an individual that booked the apartment so that we would each have our own space to sleep.Instead 2 of us had to share a bed. There is no AC in the unit and it has a giant skylight in the middle of the space. Keeping it cool was a chore while we were there. I wouldn't use this rental again.

Don't miss out!

I come to London multiple times a year and I have stayed in quite a few places before using VRBO. That said, this property was literally the BEST stay experience I have had, hands down. Alisha was an amazing hostess who was not only incredibly easy to communicate with and very accommodating, but also exceptionally prompt in responding. The unit itself was beyond lovely and I fell in love with it the moment I walked through the door! The decor is done in a way to provide maximum illumination while presenting a very modern appearance which included high-end appliances and every convenience for cooking in the kitchen. The bedrooms are intimate with very comfortable bedding (best sleep I've had in ages honestly). Of the interior, my favorite place was the living room area with the comfortable couch almost right beneath an open skylight that was so enjoyable to sit under. The area you'll be staying in is private and within easy walking distance of the Eltham High Street where all of the shopping and local conveniences are located. The neighborhood around the unit was also lovely and full of local charm. It was a pleasure to be able to walk around and enjoy the area. If you are looking for a hassle and stress free stay in London then you would be doing yourself a real disservice to pass up the opportunity to stay here. For myself? I sincerely hope I get the opportunity to utilize this space again the next time my travels take me to London and I am very grateful to stay here.
