The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a double, along with a bathroom. Outside, there is a small rear enclosed yard with shed for storage, garden with lawn, patio and furniture, as well as roadside parking on quiet village road for up to four cars. Within 1.1 miles, you will find a shop and a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Pets are not permitted. Note: The double bed can only be accessed via one side. Escape to Cumbria with a stay at 2 Ivy Cottages.

There is also a shop & Post Office, a village hall, and sitting adjacent to the green is St Peter's church, completed in 1718, with some elements of interior dating back to mediaeval times. Langwathby Station, home to the Brief Encounter Café, has excellent connections to local towns and cities along the Carlisle to Settle Railway and stunning vistas of isolated, beautiful England. Penrith is a bigger town in Cumbria's Eden Valley and just a short ride away, with the massive 14th century Penrith Castle nestled on a green meadow, Penrith Golf Club, a local history museum, as well as plenty of cafés and stores to explore. Sitting on the northerly edge of Lake Ullswater, Pooley Bridge is home to ancient inns and excellent tearooms, with access to several footpaths or enjoy a calm sail down the lake to the settlements of Glenridding and Howtown. To the north of Langwathby sits Carlisle, a historic city with a stunning cathedral, castle and the famed Tullie House Museum And Art Gallery. Edenhall is a tranquil holiday base within easy reach of amazing attractions.
