Aspectos positivos: Limpieza, llegada, comunicación y ubicación
We had a wonderful time over August bank holiday weekend. Sarah & her partner were very friendly & welcoming. The bell tents were comfortable & clean. Friends in bell tent 3 however said the mattress was a bit uncomfortable & could feel the springs in the main bed. A couple of things that could be improved on… only the fairy lights around ‘Twinkle bell tent 2’ were working, the other 3 tents lights didn’t work. Apart from being very pretty, it was a bit of a trip hazard at night. It was also extremely dark at night on the terrace as none of the festoon lighting was working. The ‘Gin bar’ was a bit tired looking & there was some old furniture stuffed behind there so couldn’t really be accessed. There isn’t enough chairs for 16 people to sit down together at the table which is a bit disappointing considering the site is for 16 people. The sun umbrella for the bench on the grass was broken & couldn’t be used. We couldn’t use the plastic white chairs on the terrace in the end as there was a white substance that came off on our clothes. There wasn’t enough mugs for us all to have a cup of tea out of at one time. For a luxury glamping site it would be good to have some matching mugs, plates & wine glasses etc. The hot plate is a good idea but there is no instructions for its use & we couldn’t work it out. We were very lucky with beautiful weather, however an undercover area would be useful in the event of rain. Lovely break but a few things to be fixed/improved upon.
