Luxury Glamping Pod in Acharacle

Burnbank Pod is on a working croft in the of village of Acharacle. It provides a good base for you to explore the Ardnamurchan Peninsula with its rugged landscape, crystal clear waters, sandy beaches and wildlife.

The pod is self contained with a well equipped kitchen and a good size shower room. There's a double bed with a lounge/dining area and underfloor heating. A smart TV and Wi-fi are also provided. Complimentary toiletries and a welcome tray, car parking and patio area.

Acharacle village is the perfect spot for those keen on the outdoors. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, Acharacle lies on the western end of Loch Shiel making it a great and popular holiday destination.
No pets, smoking or parties/events.

The property is located adjacent to the owners own home but the outlook is private and the view to the left of the pod is stunning. It’s situated in a beautiful location with easily accessible nearby amenities. It was the perfect location for us to tour around the local area and was only about 45 minutes away from the ferry to Mull. The scenery in all directions is breathtakingly beautiful. The pod is set up to a high specification and was spotless! The complimentary biscuits, tea, coffee and a wee bottle of fresh milk is a lovely touch. The shower was great and once again the complimentary shower gel, shampoo and conditioner was well received. It was the perfect place for us to sleep on our travels. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Wonderful holiday. Amazing local trails, stunning scenery and a lovely place to stay. The pod was clean, cosy and a joy to live in. Jen was so friendly and helpful. Can't recommend highly enough.

Lovely cosy pod in a beautiful location

Burnbank pod was a lovely place to stay for a short break. The views were lovely in all weathers. It was beautifully quiet yet the village pub/hotel, cafe and shop were less than a 10 minute walk away. The pod itself was clean and fresh and made great use of the small space with everything we needed to cook, eat, sleep and relax. A really cosy and comfortable little home for our stay.

Super mini break

This glamping pod is high spec, very well designed for efficiency and comfort. It would be perfect any time of year as it has underfloor heating, a good shower and feels cosy and relaxing. The area is so beautiful in every direction. It was great to escape from the city and be surrounded by nature.

Miss

We stayed for a week in early March and although we had a range of chilly weather (including snow!) we had a beautiful and snug stay here at the Burnbank Pod. It was very easy to find, had a stunning view and the owners were good people indeed who go above and beyond. When we arrive the pod was warm and well equipped , it exceeded our expectations. The local shop two mins down the road sells all your basics and the owners are very knowledgeable about the local area for walks etc - Ben Resipole ( over the other side of the water ) was a really beautiful and fairly easy walk and we also hiked and camped in the gortenfern area. Glenuig inn is only 15 mins drive away and their Cullen skink was to die for , they also work some kind of magic with chips !! It was always lovely to come back to our snug little base at the end of the day. Thank you ever so much for our stay we wish you a great season and we hope to visit again soon xxx

Gorgeous little quiet get away

Gorgeous little pod with a great sized bathroom! Everything you need, there is no signal at all so was glad to have the wifi which helped us do some work also! We even got to have a late check out due to no one in the following night. Thanks so much was exactly what we needed, a couple of nights doing nothing, so tranquil and quiet and loved to explore around the area. Lots of walking trails too! Thanks again, Jen and Marc
